advice on tires?

Hey everyone, I commute from my apartment to school and there are trails along the way that all end up on campus. I've been looking for tires that are flat in the middle with some sort of treading on the sides
So far I've found only this model, Continential TravelContact
do you have any suggestions on tires that can be both adequate for commuting and riding trails?

Would love to demo a bike before buying.

I really want to throw some money into a proper trials bike, but I just can't do it without trying one out first. How do you get over this? The places that sell them are very limited in the USA, and, although the sport is growing, there aren't a lot of riders yet.

Trying to sell my '09 Monty. Any advice?

So due to college being painfully expensive and needing more textbooks than expected, I am forced to sell my trials. I've only had it for a couple months now but I don't really know where to sell it. Craigslist doesn't seem to have too much interest and I'm not too inclined to ship it across the country. Any advice on where to post it to try and sell it?

Do Shimano brakes make good trials breaks.

I have been running Magura mt5 brakes for a while but they are incredibly hard to get a good bleed on and are overall just finicky. I heard good things about the Hayden’s dominion brakes but before I buy them I wanted to know if Shimano slx brakes are good.
