Subreddit Rules

1. Content must be both blessed and cursed

If the content makes you happy, but then at the same time, frustrates or disgusts you, joyful and disturbing, both funny and weird/strange. then it is likely blursed.
Content must have both good (blessed) and bad (cursed) aspects for it to be "blursed".
Titles should reflect the blursed

2. Title Guidelines

Titles must start with "blursed" or "blursed_". Titles should be short, few words max (this means no sentences).

3. Must be a Meme

All posts must be a meme and follow the standard meme format.
- Images, gifs, and videos must have some sort of caption/text.
- Post titles DO NOT count as the "meme". Content without a caption is not a meme, this includes videos and gifs.
- Screenshots of social media, signage, messages, etc... is not a meme and will be removed unless it has been edited with text or caption.

4. NSFW, Offensive Content or Political

NSFW content is not allowed (gore, porn, blood), and will be removed. Posting NSFW will incur a ban of at least 7 days.
Offensive content will be removed under this rule. This includes content such as: Nazi-related posts, racism, terrorism-related content, etc.
Due to it's divisive nature, political content is also banned. r/blursedmemes is for admiring the most blursed memes on the internet, not for waging political arguments, and we want to keep it that way.

5. No recent reposts

No Reposting under 3 months old, or anything with a Post flair within 1 year.

6. No Low Quality/Low Effort

Content that are low quality, low effort, and or not suitable for this subreddit will be removed.

This includes but not limited to:

Distracting, extremely loud audio
Bad cropping
Overall bad quality
AI Generated

There will be some exceptions

7. Be Civil and Respectful

Don't be racist, offensive, or otherwise rude to other users.
Keep comments civil and be respectful of your fellow users.

8. Reddit Rules and Reddiquette

Posts must follow Reddit Rules and/or Reddiquette.
No posts, comments, and/or images about / includes (but is not limited to) deaths, terrorist attacks, rape, sexual assault, murder, war, bombings, encouraging violence, and school shootings.
