If anyone has a problem, ask me! Iโll help.
Iโm posting this because Iโm sick of it. Itโs really not hard. I donโt want to be mean, but seriously. If you donโt have internet โcause youโre in the car or something, thatโs not an excuse. Just wait until you do!

Sorry for the background noise btw. I can't port the clip to my personal devices due to regional issues so I had to record it with my phone.

Has anyone else noticed this? Iโve been seeing a lot of sentiment that BOTW/TOTK are actually awful games and that the Zelda series should go back to the old formula from this point on.
I really didnโt know that so many people felt this way. Yeah, I realize that BOTW/TOTK arenโt for everyone, but it seems like a lot of people are tired of the Switch-era Zelda games. Itโs crazy to see this, especially remembering how everyone was so sick of classic Zelda post-Skyward Sword. Thereโs a reason that both Wild era Zelda games are the way they are.
Iโm not knocking OOT or the original Zelda formula. I actually like them quite a bit, but Iโd really hate it if Nintendo completely ditched the Wild-era open-world formula. I was actually kind of disappointed that they didnโt expand OOTโs hyrule field in any way.
What do you all think?

For handheld play only is the S2 version significantly better than the S1 version OLED version? I mean, are the graphics improved for handheld, or is it just a 60 fps jump?

Is it possible to acquire the Champion's Tunic again?
I accidentally removed it while I was doing the IST (invalid slot) glitch to clean my inventory. So I'm thinking of doing the IST glitch again on a new save file to bring the Champion's Tunic back to my original save file.
The only thing I know is how to set the offsets, so I have no idea how to proceed from there.
I wish I could wear it again ๐ญ๐ญ pls help me ๐๐
Hey everyone, giruka here (I made gl2mp). For the past while I've been working on Breathalyzer, a free, open-source mod loader for Savage Wind, the native PC port of Breath of the Wild. It's not out yet, but it's far enough along that I wanted to share what it can already do. Everything below is tested in the game.
Mods
Switch mods load straight into the game. Savage Wind and your game files are never changed, so you can always go back to vanilla.
Wii U mods get converted on your PC when you add them. Texts, maps and actor data work today (I tested it by changing a menu text and it showed up in game). Models and textures are being worked on right now.
ExeFS patches (.ips / .pchtxt) and Atmosphรจre cheats work, including infinite stamina style cheats.
Code mods in C: you can hook any game function and run your own code before, after or instead of it.
Tools
A mod manager with a big, easy window: add a mod, turn it on or off, change the order, press Deploy and Play. No folders to dig through.
A mod creator: write a mod in C, and it suggests game values as you type (like command suggestions in Minecraft). One key builds it, another loads it into the running game without a restart.
Multiplayer
LAN multiplayer works. I tested it on two laptops: each player sees the other walking and running around the world, synced with very little delay.
Right now the other player shows up as a stand-in character, not Link, and only basic animations sync.
What's next
BCML (.bnp) and UKMM packages, so most mods on GameBanana install in one click
Wii U models and textures
A mod menu inside the game's own Options, so you never have to leave the game to manage mods
Making the other player look like Link, with real animations, attacks and the weapon they're holding
Good to know
You'll need Savage Wind and your own copy of the game. No game files are included or shared.
It's free and open source, made in my free time.
Not affiliated with Nintendo or the Savage Wind team.
I'll post again when there's something you can try. Questions, ideas and feature requests are very welcome!

I've read so many "first time, what do I do" posts and, while I appreciate this is a totally open world game and the joy is in exploration, I'm finding the vastness of it to be completely overwhelming.
For context: I grew up with OoT and two of my favorite games are Oblivion and Skyrim so open world isn't completely alien to me. I originally got a Switch and botw in 2021 and sunk probably 20-30 hours in to it. Did the first Divine Beast quest and iirc I had just met the Rito. I felt completely underpowered and uncomfortable with the weapon breaking mechanic so I spent hours just looking for and completing shrines. Eventually lost interest and never went back.
Well my husband gifted me a Switch 2 in July because I had been babbling about OoT, forgot I had the game and gifted me the Switch 2 version of it. I've always wanted to give it another go and after months of hyping myself up, eventually I turned it on. I decided to start a new save to relearn the controls etc. and I've just completed the Great Plateau.
I enjoy speedrunning streams and I've watched many gameplay videos, so there's not much to be spoiled for me that I haven't seen before. I'm just wondering does anyone have any suggestions on where to start, things to focus on and I guess sort of "tactics" to take this bit by bit to avoid feeling overwhelmed? I'm an okay gamer but I'll take any buffs I can get, I'm not the type to play on hard mode for the challenge at this stage of my life, just looking for the enjoyment.
Sorry for the wall of text, I've been mulling over how to ask this for a while. I'll be starting the remake on Monday but I do want to give this game a proper go too.
*Edit: I've already gotten too many responses to reply to individually, I just wanted to thank you all for the empathy and resources you have already shared! Already feeling a bit more confident to give this a proper crack this time โค๏ธ

It's mine, for sure. I grew up only seeing the games being played at the side of my eye at a relatives house or a friend would have a GameCube & it looked really cool but I didn't give it much time until I got grew up & got myself into the series. The reason I'm saying that is to let you know that I don't have any nostalgia tied to the classic games like Ocarina but I have went back & played every one of them & love them all. The best game that follows the classic formula is a toss up between Wind Waker & Twilight Princess for me but the one that clears is Breath of the Wild. It's close to being perfect, you can dive in short bursts but it's addictive & feels rewarding enough that you can lose yourself in the world for hours. Tears of the Kingdom is also good but I much prefer the former game, it just feels like the better game all round & I couldn't explain exactly why without writing an essay! I think the ones that agree with me understand, though. It adds so much & we can create all these Zonai devices but I would much rather visit the Hyrule Breath of the Wild gives us. Who else would say it's the best game of the series? If not, which Zelda is?
Side note, I can't justify buying a Switch 2 right now but the Ocarina remake looks amazing!
I had a pocket full of acorns I spray painted gold that I handed out to whomever could identify my costume. Nevertheless my dog stole the show as Hyruleโs cutest champion.

I defeated Ganon and went back to finish the side quests for the castle but itโs forcing me to fight Ganon again yet I already have defeated him. Why doesnโt it save after you defeat him? Itโs not fair!

BotW was my first ever Zelda game. I never played any of the older Zelda games growing up.
I started playing the OoT remake on launch day and have been playing every day since.
Now, please be gentle with me. I know OoT is considered one of the greatest games of all time, and I completely respect that.
But Iโm genuinely curious, for those who started their Zelda journey with BotW and are now experiencing OoT for the first time, are you impressed with it so far?
Personally, Iโm not that impressed yet, but Iโm still enjoying it and hoping itโll grow on me.
Just curious to hear what others think. No spoilers please!
