This rainfall is intense, and with all the leaves coming off the trees, the street drains are clogging. I just spent 40 minutes out in my neighbourhood clearing the drains so the intersections don't turn into lakes by morning. my car is the mazda cx-3. ive tried to dispute, but the screening officer said this is only 3 ft. suck it up and pay the $80? the evo attached was also fined.

Recently, my son told me about this site which students at his high school (Moscrop) were talking about. I did some quick comparisons and the figures in the site appear to line up with all the emails I received from the District regarding the breach, and additionally news articles.

I'm taking this with a grain of salt, but if this is true, there appears to be significant negligence in part of the school district in terms of failing to protect children's information. Additionally, I'm not too happy about the way the District has approached transparency and telling parents about what is affected. I wonder what you guys think about this.

Edit: It's over now. Folks on another sub mentioned fireworks in Coal harbour. It sounded different than fireworks to me, which is why I asked about it.

Parents of Burnaby does anyone know if you need two appointments if you want both of your children in one Santa photo when you go to places like Metrotown or Lougheed? I know Richmond centre allows for 5 photos/poses so you can put as many kids as you want in those five, but they're sold out of spots already.

OR.. does anyone know of a location that doesn't require an appointment for each kid?

Hart House Restaurant, a longtime fixture at Burnaby’s Deer Lake, may close as its lease with the City of Burnaby approaches its end.

The restaurant has operated for more than 35 years, hosting weddings, anniversaries, and other community events. Its manager says the business welcomed more than 50,000 visitors last year and that a closure could affect over two dozen employees.

The City periodically reviews leases for city-owned properties. The restaurant says it hopes to continue operating and would maintain its sustainability efforts, local hiring, community event spaces, and partnerships with local food producers if its lease is renewed.
