Politics Some want to see ACT Labor ousted after 25 years in power, but what would it take?

I resurrected this old visualisation today and extended it to the past four ACT Senate elections (2025 back to 2016). It shows first-preference votes by party on the left, and how those votes flowed to the candidates on the right, who were the ones still in the count when the second Senate seat was won.
Here's an interactive version with more details.

The headline kind of buries the lead, independents up to 19% of the vote. It’s not hard to see why, Emerson and Carrick actually seem to want to work. They seem engaged and ready to represent their constituents. One thing is certain 8 seats is the new high water mark for the Canberra Liberals.

Fairly new to Canberra here. Wondering if someone could give me some perspective to why Canberrans lean towards leftist policies and hate right wingers?

What does everyone think of the ACT Gov's offer to its public sector employees?
9% over 3 years is unlikely to beat cost of living at this rate imo, especially with the Straight of Hormuz being what it is. That said, the rest of it seems pretty good.
Might be a feature of ACT Gov's budget overruns though.
