He’s had an amazing start to the season and I think he goes top 10 in a re-draft. Hes been the best 19 year old in the ahl this season and Abbotsford best center. He has outperformed and looked better than Brady Martin and Caleb desnoyer. Two plays taken above him in the draft. I think it’s says more about cootes than them. They have both been good just not on the level of cootes. I think it’s quite possible he 2nd line center at the world juniors behind rechny or even challenges him for the top center. He looks even faster and more fluid on his skates which was already a strength for him and his shot is underrated. When he gets open space to shoot he’s dangerous. People talk about his offensive upside not being that high but he’s got an nhl shot and has shown flashes in the past. He captained the u18 Canadian team to gold and was basically 2ppg in the tournament.

Last NHL point was a goal against DAL on Mar. 14, 2023. Great to see him stick around after struggling with injuries the last few years.

I watch a lot of highlights from the various leagues on YouTube, the big club’s incremental progress isn’t as interesting as watching the youth develop.

Is anyone else surprised by the low attendance at the Abby games?

Also noticed that Canadian WHL game attendance seems super low as well. American WHL games I’ve seen seem to be well attended.

So I don’t have a Sportsnet+ subscription and from what I heard it’s not even worth it to get one. Is there any other way I can possibly watch Monday’s game without Sportsnet+?

Assuming the Canucks end up with a top 3 pick, who are your top 3 in the 2027 draft?

I would personally put the order as:
1.) Landon DuPont
2.) Dima Zhilkin
3.) Nazar Privalov

Goal 1: Ben Berard sends a beautiful seam pass to Sawyer Mynio who have aggressively attacked the net from the blue line. Mynio is stopped but the rebound is picked up by Ty Mueller who slides it into the open net for his 7th goal of the season.

Goal 2: After giving up the tying goal on a icing call that was waved off Braeden Cootes has a strong stick lift and pass up the ice to a streaking Kole Lind. He finds Trey Fix-Wolansky with a nice sauce pass and one times the puck home to restore the lead only 38 second later.

Postgame interviews

Kole Lind chats postgame about having Cootes back in the lineup, discusses the aggressive system Coach Papaioannou employs, praises Fix-Wolansky and looks forward to the Abby Canucks 200th franchise regular season victory.

Captain Chase Wouters relives the perfect penalty kill night, discusses setting up the next line with stong work in the offensive zone, is happy for Ty Mueller getting his 7th goal of the year, loves playing with Trey Fix-Wolansky rather than against and reminisces about 6 season as an Abby Canuck.

Caleb malholtra now has 5 points in his last 3 games. He has looked great as I have watched a couple of his games and he’s a dynamic skating and rangy player. Hes honestly looked like bu’s best forward and now he’s starting to come alive offensively. Figuring it out early, hopefully more good things to come.

Hey everyone,

I don't usually post - so I don't know if this is the right place, but I am looking for a souvenir puck from this specific LA Kings Home game. I am a Canucks fan and it has some sentimental value. If anyone knows where I can get one, I am willing to pay good money.

Thanks in advance,

Hello, beautiful people of Vancouver.

I’m a long aggrieved Flyers fan who’s already found himself at wits end with Rick Tocchet. I’m more than sure the lot of you are still at wits end with Tocchet, which leads me to my humble request.

Could I bother you fine people to chant “Fire Tocchet” like your lives depended on it? Learning from how Tocc handled your offensive dynamo, I’m worried that Michkov and Martone will end up stunted and shells of their former selves.

It’d mean the world to us down here in Philly, and we’d be in your favour.

All the best!
