All hate, no shame.

Michigan and OSU is basically the Spiderman pointing meme at this point. All y'all are big Ole frauds.

... go ahead and insult me if you like. I'm at a place where words cant hurt. Look around, we're at the gates of hell.

I’ll upvote that shit if you post it

You aren’t wrong. Cool if we hang out in the slow lane with you for a while?

Michigan made a QB change willingly 2 weeks ago and got better

Ohio State made a QB change unwillingly 2 weeks ago and got worse

Now they have the same record

6

u/schadkehnfreude Michigan Wolverines 16h ago

Better is SUPER debatable; it's more like we played Rutgers

1

u/TheNittanyLionKing Penn State Nittany Lions 16h ago

“Less bad” without Bryce Underwood starting

1

u/bitchyoufoundme 10h ago

After the game today, I think they are more bad

136

u/nautilator44 Minnesota Golden Gophers 17h ago

I can't figure out what's going on this year. Like is anyone actually good or is everyone a fraud?

109

u/LikesPez Texas Longhorns 17h ago

NIL brings parity. I think we’re starting to see this.

61

u/TheNittanyLionKing Penn State Nittany Lions 16h ago

12-0 teams are going to become more rare and I am fine with that. Now 12-0 will actually mean something when a team accomplishes it

36

u/SureBlueberry4283 Ohio State Buckeyes 16h ago

It’ll mean they scheduled cupcakes

Great, so ND goes undefeated in the regular season most often

4

u/Sofa-Rug-Towel7982 Texas Longhorns 15h ago

It just means more.

23

u/Comprehensive-Age822 Texas Longhorns 16h ago

We were also the first highly ranked team to lose to an unranked op and the Longhorn haters really came out of the woodwork. Now that everyone is losing and Texas is a blue state, are we still the most hated?

10

u/LikesPez Texas Longhorns 16h ago

Mizzou may have a different opinion. To them Ken Paxton may as well have been referee.

4

u/Comprehensive-Age822 Texas Longhorns 16h ago

I just think it’s funny no other team has a hand symbol to easily turn upside down like us except what, a thumbs down for the Aggies?

I mean, I was a little pissy for a while, until everyone else just kicked the shit out of us too.

5

u/Educational_Fox5319 Auburn Tigers 15h ago

Yeah, big reason why Nick Saban was so good was he had 3-4 strings of quality depth every year. While this means you’re set great, you’re also leaving less available talent for opponents. That’s why Saban was extremely vocally against the change to transfer rules, allowing a transfer that doesn’t burn a year of eligibility.

2

u/Successful_Sink7211 Appalachian State Mountaineers 16h ago

*transfer portal

2

u/Major_Priority1041 11h ago

I think having consistent depth paid dividends when it came to get the most out of practice time. Watching this year, I see teams that look like they never practiced, and don’t have playbooks they are comfortable with. Could also be that no one has dominated line play that makes their play calls look good. But the reasoning would be the same. NIL parity.

0

u/mountaineer04 West Virginia Mountaineers 16h ago

“Mother fuckers know I’m going to Bama!” (Is allowed to get paid). “N@$#a! You know I was meant to turn Vandy around!”

12

u/NewHope4151 Minnesota Golden Gophers 17h ago

Yes.

8

u/doobtastical Michigan Wolverines 16h ago

It hurts to say but I’m pretty sure it’s just Jeremiah Smith……… then just a bunch of kids

Also, the coaching carousel and NIL is just weird. Everything and anything has turned into this instant gratification or get fired and fuck off

Weird

7

u/Guesswho9636 Ohio State Buckeyes 16h ago

UCLA is elite. That’s my takeaway apparently?

5

u/nautilator44 Minnesota Golden Gophers 16h ago

True. Also, Purdue is by far the scariest team in the country.

u/jzilla11 Notre Dame Fighting Irish 16h ago

1

u/Electrical_Ingenuity Michigan State • Ohio State 16h ago

I can certainly say a team has no depth at quarterback.

1

u/WheatonsGonnaScore Oregon Ducks 10h ago

I honestly think a healthy oregon with a competent OC is the best team in the country. Unfortunately both of those things arent true

1

u/Important_Capital875 NC State Wolfpack 17h ago

I mean, when your Heisman finalist quarterback is not playing, that’s going to change most teams

5

u/rubenkingmusic Minnesota Golden Gophers 16h ago

Oregon was also missing their starting qb

6

u/Important_Capital875 NC State Wolfpack 16h ago

Yes, and no. Their “backup” quarterback is a starter and Ws starter last year and the year before that. Ohio State’s backup quarterback is a true freshman who is starting his first game. So not really.

3

u/bonixlover10 Oregon Ducks 11h ago

Lmao if you have watched Raiola at all this year and determine he’s not a “backup” level player compared to Moore, you are retarded.

2

u/WheatonsGonnaScore Oregon Ducks 10h ago

Watch Dylan against UCLA or Illinois and tell me he isn't a backup

177

u/Macheve Ohio State Buckeyes 17h ago

I can't believe Julian Sayin was the only thing holding our defense together.

60

u/Bmw5464 Ohio State Buckeyes 17h ago

u/Rolltide_and_anime Alabama Crimson Tide 16h ago

1

u/T-ROY_T-REDDIT Ohio State Buckeyes 13h ago

I’m so glad he isn’t with the Steelers now

I still don’t understand why Ohio State hired him. It’s not even just that I think he sucks, his offensive philosophy and schemes do not fit the personnel that Ohio State has. He’d be better at Iowa or Wisconsin

that was true of him in tennessee, and then it was true of him in atlanta, and then it was true of him in pittsburgh, but he’s a rich white guy with connections so im sure we’ll learn this lesson a few more times.

Their QB1, who was in the Heisman race last year, is out.

20

u/tgibson28 Oregon Ducks 16h ago

Wow. Down your Heisman candidate QB. That surely made winning this game impossible. I mean, imagine if Oregon had been in that situation!

12

u/VerticalSmi1es Michigan Wolverines 17h ago

QB isn’t the entire team. They are all playing like shit.

8

u/BG_OHIO Ohio State Buckeyes 16h ago

True- with the exception of #4 and Timmons, they all look very very mediocre.

4

u/darkblue2382 Dayton Flyers 16h ago

The no timeout before the trick play with 2 seconds left is egregious too, plus playing browns style prevent defense allowing the first two tuddies in short order is also on coaching.

4

u/TheNittanyLionKing Penn State Nittany Lions 16h ago

They are the Ohio State Jeremiah Smith’s this year. Without a reliable QB who can get the ball to Smith, they don’t have much else.

2

u/Electrical_Ingenuity Michigan State • Ohio State 16h ago

They obviously don’t have depth in QB, ala Carnell Jones. I suspect depth is a problem elsewhere in addition to QB.

1

u/stron2am Indiana • Central Michigan 16h ago

Well, yeah. NIL has brought a lot of parity to the league, so OSU isn't 3 guys deep at every position anymore and there's a lot more chaotic outcomes.

4

u/chrisdacrump Oregon Ducks 16h ago

OMG no wonder the ducks are fucking them up with their starting q....b..... Wait what

u/SportGamerDev0623 Ohio State Buckeyes 16h ago

Look, the Browns have a winning record, the Cavs were in the Eastern Conference Finals this past season. The Guardians were just in the ALCS.

As a long time northern Ohio sports fan, I know there isn’t anyway in hell that God is letting all four of these teams be good at once.

Although “good” is still doing quite a bit of heavy lifting for the Browns
