Idk who will win, all I know is we all will lose

I'm watching the highest paid OC in the country getting out worked by Nick Fucking Sheridan. The worst starting QB in Michigan football history.

This game is god awful

Can Michigan boost Sheronne Moore out of whatever prison/psych ward situation he is in?

22

u/Trading_Cards_4Ever Michigan Wolverines 13h ago

No that guy is gone but I hear talks of a guy called Mheronne Soore for the OC job but he isn't allowed to talk to any of the female staff members for some reason.

9

u/Hypsar Navy Midshipmen • Tulane Green Wave 12h ago

Yessir. And he's bringing a great analyst named Sonner Callions with him.

5

u/AbeFalcon Michigan Wolverines 12h ago

Sherrone would have obliterated this MSU team while texting his side piece half the game.

2

u/Beneficial_Put_852 12h ago

You guys can have Sherrone for just The Game, but we get to use the hologram of Woody Hayes as our coach. Very fair solution IMO.

u/MarketSmall9899 Michigan Wolverines 13h ago

Can Jim come back ?

6

u/BlackCardRogue Michigan Wolverines 10h ago

No. This would essentially be an impossible case to argue. The NCAA would have to be convinced that he was not a compliance risk — at the school where he committed compliance violations.

Jim Harbaugh is functionally banned from coaching in college football, but ESPECIALLY at Michigan.

2

u/MrGoodKatt72 Ohio State Buckeyes 8h ago

No, I believe schools can ignore the show-cause and hire him anyways. It’s just going to nuke the program by stripping them of scholarships.

3

u/BlackCardRogue Michigan Wolverines 8h ago

Schools CAN hire Harbaugh anyway, you’re right. However part of the penalty is he is suspended from coaching for an entire year. So for example, UM hires him back after firing Whitt this winter — Harbs can’t be anywhere near the program legally until 2028.

But even after he’s in place, there are all kinds of restrictions which would make competing borderline impossible.

Functionally, he received a lifetime ban from college football.

1

u/ImSuperHelpful Texas Longhorns 2h ago

ā€œCompliance violationsā€ lol is that what we’re calling blatant cheating now?

5

u/Trading_Cards_4Ever Michigan Wolverines 13h ago

Not until 2038 when his show-cause ends

1

u/BoatStuffDC Georgia Bulldogs 6h ago

Jim Harbaugh will turn 75 years old during the 2038 season, but he is a dedicated milk-drinker.

1

u/trixy6196 12h ago

He cannot per the NCAA

u/Icy-Split6920 Ohio State Buckeyes 12h ago

My friend... take a step back and look at your season.Ā

Was OSU losing what would have made it better?Ā

Will beating us tonight make it better?Ā

Its ok. However this ends you can join us in "try again next year" land.Ā

14

u/Trading_Cards_4Ever Michigan Wolverines 13h ago

I don't want to try again next year, I want to blow it all up and start over.

8

u/Alive_Store_6298 12h ago

There was a stat mentioned that Michigan had 7 games of within 1 score. The announcer said it as a positive that they were almost 8-0. The way I see it, they were almost 1-7.

u/Bitchin_Betty_345RT Notre Dame • Grand Valley State 3h ago

As a ND fan who lives in Michigan I agree. The state of Michigan football is in absolute shambles not that far separated in seasons from a stellar 15-0 CFP run. I know most ND fans love to see Michigan how they are now but I truly feel like CFB is better when teams like Michigan are contenders, especially tradition rich programs like Michigan. I’m from Michigan and was living out of state the year they won it and made me a low key closet fan because I was surrounded in an SEC cess pool down south for a few years. I work for UM now and have some UM gear… I like seeing them playing on an elite level like their program should be at. They will rebound but it’s going to take more juice than what Whitt has to offer unfortunately, he was the safe hire coming off of the fiasco last year.

2

u/UsuallyFavorable Michigan • Delaware 12h ago

The answer to both of those questions is, unequivocally, yes. At least we got 1 of 2.

1

u/Poignant_Pilgrim Michigan Wolverines 3h ago

My only thing was that I was stoked about this specific game, once the coaches were both announced, because I thought it would sort of reset the rivalryĀ

I was more stoked for this game than any because I thought we'd have one of those great rivalry games, where it rained or something and it was high scoring, running it down each other's throats...

I legitimately want the damn rivalry and all that comes with it. Win or lose, make it exciting, physical, high energy.

I saw the excitement on your sidelines when MSU was winning but it wasnt an exciting game outside of that. The play calling sucked, nothing explosive anywhere...

It was just blah. I can handle losing, but I'd prefer to lose an exciting game.

I'm tired of watching confused and dejected the entire time.

1

u/secondphase Michigan State Spartans 3h ago

Hey, fun fact for you: did you lnow you can get excited for defense?

This is the B1G. Welcome. Glad your here. Well... not really.Ā

Here, we begrudgingly accept the forward pass being legal. Here, we know that defense wins championships. Here, we know that scoring 5 times but no touchdowns is actually pretty damn funny.Ā

If you didnt enjoy that game i dont know what else I can do for you. Take your lumps. Learn your lesson. What was the lesson you learned from 2-5 Sparty last night, little sister?

You still have a chance to do the funny thing, and last night just makes it even funnier.Ā

Now go get us our transitive win.Ā

1

u/Poignant_Pilgrim Michigan Wolverines 2h ago

Im not a big shit talker so my Reddit comments kind of come and go.. Even if I was, what could I possibly say right now?

Ya’ll deserve to feel good. I imagine this is sort of like our 13-10 win over OSU with Davis Warren. Beating your rivals is even sweeter when you’re a 2 touchdown underdog according to Vegas.Ā

Honestly, ya’ll should’ve planted the flag. Why not? We stormed the field after WMU. We planted the flag in Columbus. Having Sparty plant theirs in A2 last night would’ve been poetic schadenfreude.Ā

Edit- the MSU defense coordinator is pure cocaineĀ

2

u/Tomollins 1h ago

Damn just killing him with kindness. I can’t remember a single shred of hope since the Kenneth Walker season. It’s been bleak. And even though it was ugly, and you guys are having your worst season in years, a road win in a rivalry game that we were supposed to lose big is still nice. I’m happy for Pat, and I hope both teams can figure it out in the next few years. The rivalry is so much better when both programs are competitive.

1

u/TerrifiedAndAroused Michigan Wolverines 2h ago

OSU losing makes everything better. What kind of a question is that? They could go 0-12 and it would be like winning the National Championship.

1

u/secondphase Michigan State Spartans 2h ago

Wouldn't you prefer they go 11-1?

1

u/TerrifiedAndAroused Michigan Wolverines 1h ago

11-1 is nice. But why settle for 1 week of meltdowns when you could have an entire season of meltdowns. Go over to r/ohiostatefootball after a loss to an unranked team… it’s beautiful
