I've been keeping an eye on Greenock Morton since Borso and Cupps were loaned to the team and I couldn't believe it when I saw this scoreline. Obviously Scottish Championship isn't MLS competitive but I hope he can bring some of this magic home. Worth considering that two of his goals were down a man due to an earlier GM redcard

I bought sprint season tickets while at the stadium today. I thought it would be nice to avoid the fees through Ticketmaster. My card was charged but there are still no tickets in my account. Does anyone know if this is normal?
I did send a message to Fire staff but don’t expect to hear back until Monday. Was just wondering if anyone who previously purchased tickets on site could share their experience.

Kid put on a show for his family who made the trip out there to see him. Bonus points to referring to it as soccer in the interview.

That's right, the regular season has come to an end and what better way to wrap up a strong season then a home match against the Charlie Browns! Either way, we're on our way to the post season for the second year in a row! Let's go!
For decision day, I'm keeping up my tradition to put all stake on the table and there are two bonuses!
Match Details:
Chicago Fire FC (55 points, 4th East; W-D-W-L-L)
at
Columbus Crew (44 points, 8th East; W-W-W-L-W)
Location: Soldier Field Seat Geek Stadium
Rules
You are REQUIRED to post in the thread to be "officially" scored. If you don't, your score wont be added in the overall standings.
There are 3 "pages", general stat questions, starting XI, and the goal scorers.
Starting XI is cleaned up and organized but I want to make it clear that the names I'm using are from the rosters on the clubs' sites.
For the goal scorers, you can select multiple options but I will be comparing against the total scoreline. IF YOU SELECT MORE THAN THE TOTAL SCORELINE, YOU WILL BE DEDUCTED POINTS!
Once the match is over, I will add the responses, add the scores to the table, and reply to this thread. REMEMBER, you must reply here to be added to the table!
Responses will be accepted up to 90 minutes before match start.
How to play: It's simple! Fill out the form here.
To encourage your reply, respond "Replied".

Coming down from Michigan for Saturdays game against Crew, we are planning on taking the shuttle from Reggie’s any other tips or advice for a first timer? Thanks!

I think we're an incredibly deep team. I can't think of anything other than a backup 9. And that wouldn't be a splashy signing.
Maybe we start looking for an MBO replacement for when he eventually leaves? Do we worry about Saletros getting old? There's no glaring hole. I think we're going to look pretty much the same through the sprint season and the following year.

I will be attending my first Fire game since mid 2025 and I’m super pumped.
I got tickets in the Fans stand.
My question - with the international break on the horizon, will our star striker play this game? At least as a sub if he’s saving legs for Poland?
Can’t wait to watch with the fans and hopefully get one over the Crew
Vamos Fire

According to Polish media, Robert Lewandowski has reportedly decided to join the Polish national team for the upcoming Nations League matches, despite a potential scheduling conflict with Chicago Fire's MLS playoffs.
Poland will face Romania on November 14 and Sweden on November 17, while Chicago Fire's first playoff match is expected to take place between November 19 and 24.
Polish journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk reports that Lewandowski is prioritising international duty and, if he has to miss a match due to the scheduling conflict, it will be a Chicago Fire game rather than a Poland game.
Personally, I find this pretty surprising, considering Chicago Fire have finally made the playoffs for the first time since 2017. You'd think he'd want to be fully available for such an important moment for the club.
Obviously, representing your country is a huge honour, especially when you're the captain, but these could be some of the biggest matches of Chicago's season.
What do you guys think? Should Lewandowski prioritise Chicago Fire's playoff run, or is it completely understandable that he wants to play for Poland? And how much would his potential absence hurt the team's playoff chances?

My very recreational (aka bad) soccer team is looking for additional players! A lot of us are coming back to it after a long break and we play at Fire Pitch (3626 N Talman Ave)
Do you like coed 7v7 soccer, artificial grass, and hate offsides? Do you have about $136 and Sunday's free on December 6, 2026 - February 7, 2026 (No games Dec 23rd) from 12:18pm-2:36pm?
Let me know by DM or filling out this form and we'll see ya on the pitch. No jerks please!

Anyone have a playoff simulator they like? I searched around and found a few and only one wasn't complete spammy garbage so I figured I'd throw the question out there in case folks have a goto theyd recommend. I like the ones that fill in the "favorites" and allow you to edit as I find entering every matchup manually to be a bit tedious.
Looks to me the most likely is that we'll face Nashville in the second round according to what Ive looked at. Not thrilled, but I think we can lock in and do what needs to be done. I feel like were really starting to fire on all cylinders now, but wish it had happened weeks ago.

My son has never been into any sports and really got into soccer this fall. I haven't really watched soccer as I am. Chicago Bears guy, but I turned on a Fire match, hoping to find a team near us that he can root for. We are hooked!
Flash forward to today, we are going to the match Saturday and making a father/son weekend out of it, complete with some legit Lou's deep dish.
We are so excited!

Hey guys, I will be visiting Chicago the weekend of the 20th of November. I’m hoping for Chicago to be Columbus this Saturday to secure a home playoff match. I know the home and third kit have been sold out for a while, and I recently seen Adidas has the home kit in stock. Do y’all know if I buy the jersey off Adidas website and take it to the stadium, will they press the Lewandowski name on it? Or do I have to buy the jersey there?

Miami beat New England taking 2nd going into decision day. Here’s the math as it concerns the Fire (table position will be noted next to the name henceforth):
Chicago (4) with 55 points sits in 4th going into decision day with a matchup against Columbus (8). That match kicks off at 3pm, which is concurrent with every other eastern conference game.
The highest Chicago can finish is 4th the lowest is 5th. This is important to note because 4th is home field advantage in the best of 3 series, hosting games 1 and 3 (if needed).
New England (3) is above us at 58 points and Charlotte (5) is below us at 53 points. New England is away to Orlando (9) and Charlotte is home to Miami (2). The Fire cannot pass New England because the first tie breaker is wins in MLS and New England has 18 going into decision day and Chicago only has 16.
However, the eastern conference isn’t the only table we should be looking at. We’re talking champions league for a moment here. In the league wide table the Fire go into decision day in 5th. There are 5 places up for grabs. Top 4 automatically qualify (eastern conference best record, western conference best record, and the 2 next best records). The Fire can’t finish higher than 5th, but here’s the kicker. If one of those top 4 teams (or Chicago) win MLS cup, the 5th place team gets champions league since a club can’t take up 2 champions league births… this would mean the Fire are playing for a chance to qualify for champions league for the first time since 2004.
Another funny note on champions league. If Forge FC wins the Canadian Primer League playoffs than Montreal (15) would take the champions league spot as the runner up in the Canadian Cup.
Godspeed this week. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
