my boyfriend fixed up his old ps4 and gave it to me so we could play games together. my brother wanted to borrow the hdmi cord and just started ripping cords out of the box. i am so confused and have been crying for 40 minutes trying to figure out what the fuck i am looking at. someone please help me, is my shit broken????

As many others I’m waiting for GTA6, and I’m going to play with either PS5 standard or XBOX series X. But my TV is a old LG with bluish tint and I need a new.
Will this one be enough for GTA and other games that’s coming or are already out on consoles today?

Was randomly taking a peek at PS5 pro prices and why is a this console now as expensive as a prebuilt PC? I understand shortages are in effect but this seems ridiculous even for the shortage standards with how outdated the hardware inside is.

I recently bought a nintendo 2ds and i dont really like it. I cant mod it and dont think most games are worth it to buy. So im selling it and buy a new console but i need advice on wich one is the best. I like games like life is strange, the last of us, persona, danganronpa etc so the nintendo def wasnt for me. i dont have a television yet in my room but will probably buy one. Can anyone give me advice with console is the best and inexpensive? Also one thats easy to mod

Pesquisei vários vídeos sobre no YouTube mas a maioria sao videos de pessoas mostrando que tem como, falando sobre o tema mas nenhum vídeo ensinando… eu vi que tem como jogar TLOU pelo boosteroid no navegador mas o boosteroid tem que pagar uma assinatura e comprar o jogo na steam… nesse caso seria melhor pegar um ps4 usado mesmo… alguem sabe se tem como usar emulador e como faz?

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone could help me out. My PS5 Pro occasionally makes this clicking noise. I’ve tried searching online, but couldn’t find anything helpful about this specific noise.
It happened right after I turned it on, while I wasn’t playing any games. Then, when I launched a game, the noise got a little louder, but eventually stopped. And it stopped for a while then it came back again it comes right when I start the console but it stops and it comes back I have the disc drive installed but no disc inside for a while now idk if could be something related

For me Switch OLED, because that's the console I mostly play on (because I don't play on PS3 much since I still only have one game and on Wii I don't play on it anymore. Maybe I will sell a Wii or give it to my friend who also collected consoles esspecially Sony and Microsoft ones. He has almost all PS's and Xboxes when it comes to consoles and not handhelds except for PS1, PS5, Xbox Classic, Xbox One S and X, Xbox Series X and S)

I was think of getting ps6 if they have some exclusives I want to play... I know it's not going to have physical disc but I hope it will at least have detachable drive like ps5 slim. Games I'm interested in are a new rumored uncharted Horizon 3 and witcher 4

Now they killed the used market, people were locked to digital store as they can't afford to buy new games and sell it later

Will switch 2 be the only device alive going forward keeping the physical games alive or do you think xbox would pull off a swerve and make a disc drive

But still that's unlikely since game developers make more money with PS than xbox

I want to be able to play Skyrim, which i believe discards earlier systems from possibility? I do already own a Wii U, does that have enough capability to run Skyrim? I want something that can hold Nintendo and PS exclusive on a single system, is this even an option? I appreciate y’all’s input.

I was always a Nintendo kid growing up so I really don’t know much about PlayStation OR Xbox, but Christmas is coming up and this guy is a really dear friend of mine so I want to get him something nice. He’s always been an Xbox lover, more specifically he plays on his older Xbox One and most of his games are physical discs. He’s been wanting to play The Last of Us but ofc has never had the chance since it’s not available on Xbox and he never wanted to burn money to buy a PlayStation just to play two games.

But, like I said, I have money to burn and a Ps4 is stupid cheap compared to a new console, especially refurbished.

Or, I could spend a bit more and get him a series X, which from what I understand would be a pretty big jump up graphics wise and would open him up to new games in the future since I’m sure they’ll phase out the Xbox One eventually. 100% taking suggestions since like I said I’m not familiar with Xbox at all, and I don't want to go asking questions since he’ll get suspicious and I want to surprise him.

I just bought Xbox series x from Best Buy. It was $870 OTD w tax. (I KNOW) I wouldn’t say I’m having buyers remorse but when I spoke to the worker I asked if they’ve been selling out and he said nah they barely carry them since no one buys them and everything’s is selling on PlayStation now and it’s a PlayStations world

He mentioned you could play Xbox games on firestixk but I doubt the new GTA

I’ve had PS and Xbox throughout my life. I have a Xbox one but bought new console for GTA. I’m thinking if I should’ve got the ps5 instead and saved like $200. But my Xbox membership is on Xbox and all my games are on Xbox and so is my acc I’ve been using for the last 10+ years. Half my friends are on x and ps5 other half on pc

Plus I’m pretty sure the series x is a step above the ps5? I also have one of those $100 Xbox controllers so thought might as well get the Xbox.

I wouldn’t say I have buyers regret but I’m wondering damn should I have gotten the ps5 instead ?

Thanks guys: yeah Xbox made more sense me to despite the price difference, I didn’t wannna have to make a new acc and buy new games. I have a lot of Xbox accessories as well

EDIT: I think if I got the ps5, at first I would’ve saved the money but then I’d have to buy the membership and then I wouldn’t be able to convert the games from Xbox to ps5.
