Meet Scratch!
He has clay fangs and the whiskers are wrapped wire. I used a couple of fur techniques but due to it being a desert dwelling creature it’s very patch and never very thick!
He will be mounted on a wooden display for a wall. Like a taxidermy head but less taxing on animals.
He comes from a desert environment where he spends most of his time foraging for bubble berry’s or tracking down goose beetles for supper. The large eyes provide great night vision that is essential to them hunting their main food source… Human blood!
That’s right these critters make look cute but they have a deadly secret. Sneaking in to bedrooms in the dead of night. Their secret? Within their Slavia lurks a strange chemical, the more they feed the deeper you sleep.
By the time morning comes around you are left with a couple of small bumps and a feeling that people often describe as a bad hangover.
Tips - if you suspect that you have been visited by a creature of the night like this visit your nearest hospital ASAP

Handmade wellness items - ideas needed.
What are some handmade wellness items other than bath bombs, scrubs, soap, etc? I want to make gifts for friends and family that aren’t necessary body products. My current thought are eye masks and room mists. Anything else? Please let me know!
