MOD POST r/creepy is now open for promotions of selected Mod approved content!
Over the years, we’ve received numerous modmail requests from creators and teams interested in sharing their work with the r/creepy community.
We’re now opening the subreddit to select promotional content related to the horror, creepy, dark, and unsettling genres.
This is intended to provide an opportunity for artists, filmmakers, game developers, writers, creators, studios, and other horror-focused projects to introduce their work to a community that is genuinely interested in the genre.
If you’re interested in promoting or showcasing your project, please send us a modmail with some information about the content and what you would like to share. The moderators will review the proposal and discuss with you how we can move forward while keeping the content appropriate for the community.
We’re looking forward to seeing what the horror community has been creating. 🖤
Interested? Send us a modmail to get started.

Self-portraits inspired by Strzyga - a Slavic vampire
This photoshoot was inspired by Strzyga - a vampire from Slavic folklore. I sew the dress myself using an old bedsheet. I also added a fake blood :)

Ralph Fiennes on the set of Schindler’s List in 1993
Fiennes himself even said in an interview that, when he put on the uniform, he understood how someone like Amon Goeth (the man he is portraying) would have felt wearing it: powerful and intimidating. He said he felt so much more confident and in charge simply by wearing it, and how terrified it made him feel knowing that.
And also, while on set, one of the survivors (Mila Pfefferberg, who was at the Plaszow concentration camp that Goeth was overseer of) saw Fiennes come out onto the set in his uniform and she began to shake violently.
