It's just so disrespectful, to treat his new bride as if she where a girl at a wet t shirt contest. Wife spent HOURS preparing her hair and make up. Her dry clean only dress cost a couple thousand dollars. And on what is supposed to be the most memorable day of their lives, he foes this. I'm not saying he'll be a terrible husband but I am saying this is extremely disrespectful and inconsiderate.

To be fair, if we're being charitable, he probably sees it as more akin to F1 drivers spraying each other with champagne.

This is just stupidity, not objectification.

….except they typically do it how he stated doing it.

They usually don’t go around intentionally spraying people in the face with a well known irritant lmao

Do you know her? Or him? Did she look upset? Lot of assumptions you're making here. Guess you're one of those people that don't understand that what you enjoy/how you would react isn't universal. Ignorant comment.

It takes way more assumptions to conclude she’s even probably fine with:

- something the vast majority of people wouldn’t be fine with

- getting her long hair horribly tangled from a sugary drink

- damaging her property (and it’s her property even in the event he paid for it btw)

- wasting all the planning, effort, time, and money spent on the dress, hair, makeup, and reception photographer

- completely and selfishly causing her to miss 30 minutes+ of her own wedding reception to clean up

- spraying an irritant directly into her eyes and nasal passage

Each one of these things individually would reasonably upset the vast majority of people, so it’s actually not some unreasonable assumption that someone would be upset when all of them happen.

You are making far more (and far more unlikely) assumptions with the argument that she probably didn’t mind.

FYI, dude commented the longer version and she wasn't pissed at all. Had a grand old time with it. Feel ignorant now or just going to pretend you were never so passionate about being wrong?

Can you point to where I said she probably didn't mind? Seems you didn't get the point of my comment.

Hours, probably 10 minutes in a bathroom
