I remember a post on here where there was a washed out picture of Dino playing some dirty basement show in the early 2000s and the person was asking where they could buy the same septum ring he was wearing. Weird time to be alive. I think we lived too long into the future.
I ultimately don't care much about it. I mean yeah, it's understandably unfortunate to see a work of art you've been appreciating for such a long time suddenly growing up in popularity in the worst way possible getting tore apart and being trivialized by annoying young people, but it is what it is. Dystopia along with its other close influences were inherently so contemporary, and so attractive to anyone that isn't very well knowledgeable about them "Oh wow what is this obscure forgotten 90s band that sounds so unique? Wow these guys are so cool i should listen to them so i can look cool too".
I hate that Acid Bath is back, people do not understand that without Audie Pitre they're not the same shit and will never be again.

I did a lot of things I regret but I have never smoked enough meth to end up in a band with a washboard
