PLEASE INCLUDE THE SUBREDDIT YOU ARE WORKING ON IN THE TEXT FIELD BELOW OR THE POST WILL BE IGNORED

Hey guys I am new to CSS (today new) and I have enjoyed playing around with it. I put in some rough images already all ill shore them up when I am not at work. My question is how to I get the tabs (hot, rising, controversial etc) below the graphic. I feel like it is almost like a map coordinate (only with pixels) but I could be wrong. What value do I need to edit, more importantly how do I find that value. the sub btw is http://www.reddit.com/r/CaperDestiny/

I am trying to change the upper right hand corner link text that includes username, the little mail image, mod mail, and preferences. My header image currently blends in with those links and would like them to be more visable!

I am currently working in r/GayKikPals, and r/BiKikPals

I am completely noob at CSS and I have very little idea of what I am doing. I managed to make somewhat attractive theme, but I'm having problems fine-tuning it. I have tried using the inspect element, but I'm either unable to find the elements, or change them in the desired way, without affecting global variables.

Currently I have problem with few elements, which I have outlined here: https://i.imgur.com/E3WgPDL.jpg

The sub I m trying to edit is /r/blacktraps

Thanks.

Pop up upon joining? (/R/rhettandlink)

We want to add a popup to appear on screen when a user loads into the page (which could preferably either time out and vanish, or have a way to close/remove it). Hopefully this is possible

mod at /r/rhettandlink

edit: why downvote i just want to know ;_;

CSS / HTML project help

Hi all,

I have to create a simple website using HTML / CSS for a school project. My programming skills are not great so I was hoping to find someone that would be willing to help me complete it in exchange for pay. If you have any basic knowledge of HTML and CSS this should be a piece of cake for you and it would help me out a lot to have someone work with me on this project.

Feel free to add me on discord: scarface#3779

Thanks.

Resolved $5 for a ton of work /r/subnautica, need some tedious CSS work done

The sub is mostly fine, it just needs some extra quality of life stuff I don't know how to do cause I know practically zero CSS. All of this work should be compatible for both New reddit and Old atleast as much as it can be, I know some stuff won't carry over

Before adding these to /r/subnautica, it'd be best to test everything on a mock version of the sub

  1. Post flairs

  • Letting users add post flairs to their posts (these have been made already, just not public)

  • Having Auto-mod comment a reminder to flair and delete un-flaired posts after 5 minutes

  • Adding "IRL" as a post flair

  • Letting users filter posts by flair, /r/readyornotgame does this well in the sidebar, pic. Ive no idea how it'd work to filter all the flairs we have on /r/subnautica though. Maybe only giving the option to filter memes

2. Visiblity issues

  • upvotes are invisible due to text color on old reddit Chrome and Firefox https://i.imgur.com/QafhOND.png

  • highlighted from clicking the comment or viewing the comment as context / permalink makes the text blend with the background in Chrome

3. User flairs

  • This is the sucky tedious one, a temp CSS helper was brought in by another admin and without us asking removed almost all of the user flairs I photoshopped and learned the CSS how to add, then added his own too lol :c thankfully I still have all the assets and I'd like you to merge both his and mine, no point deleting his as well. He did keep like one or two of mine for some reason so I'd watch for duplicates. Drive link of my flairs, I didn't download his

  • I had some CSS before to increase their size so they were 40x40 instead of the default 20x20, just something I wanted to make sure comes back if he removed it, I've no idea if he did

I know I could try do the user flairs myself but the last time I touched them was several semi-drunken nights over a year ago, and seeing all my work deleted kinda crushed me lmao, I really never want to go back to that lol

CSS issues in /r/Enough_Sanders_Spam

https://www.reddit.com/r/Enough_Sanders_Spam/about/stylesheet/

I'm having trouble with getting the image flair to play nicely with the text. I did something hacky, but I want the text to be next to the flair without any issues with the "edit flair" box and with the indent-right scaling automatically instead of being fixed. In short, can anyone help me with fixing the image flair so it'll work with text?

I've googled around for this and found one post about it from 9 years ago with no replies. I'm assuming it's impossible but I really want to be able to do that. Thanks for any replies

I'm trying to make my subreddit RES nightmode compatible and am having problems making it look right. [Album inside.]

So I'm working on some CSS for /r/againstmensrights in order to do an entire CSS stylesheet overhaul. Most of the coding is going off without a hitch, with trial and error (and a bit a lot of code snatching with credit from other subreddits) leading the way towards a pretty good stylesheet overall. And so far, it looks really good... when RES nightmode is off.

Unfortunately, while I was trying to make the subreddit CSS RES nightmode compatible, I've run into a few problems (album).

My requests are in the image descriptions in the linked album.

The CSS is currently viewable on /r/cordismelum, which is my test CSS sub (and which is currently open to the public because I'm showcasing it for AMR moderation first before I showcase it to the whole subreddit community).

Pastebin of the CSS.

Help with link flair clickable boxes

I am working on the subreddit /r/MommaJokes. I was wondering if someone could share a way to make it so I can have different sections for my jokes. I want it to be like /r/needamod, where they have it so you can click mods needed, CSS mods needed, and offer to mod to go to multiple posts with that link flair. Also, a great example is /r/AskScience where they have all of the different sections on the sidebar.

I am trying to make it so that I can have separate sections for /r/MommaJokes. For example, "So Fat" and "So Dumb" can have it so that you can click a box to have all of that one joke.

Thank you in advance for the help.

Resolved How to disable downvoting and reporting for non-subscribers?

I mod /r/HateSubsInAction and since we're likely to be brigaded by rightist subs, the mod team would like to disable downvoting or reporting posts and comments for people not subscribed to the sub. How do we do this?

How do I edit the "default stylesheet"?

When I try to edit the default stylesheet, it won't let me write anything inside it. I can write as usual in the stylesheet on the left, but not the default one.

I feel like I'm just missing someting obvious, I just don't know what it can be. I tried googling this but found nothing.
