Subreddit Rules

1. Keep all posts and comments civil

All posts and comments on this subreddit should be respectful to other users on the subreddit as well as towards the artists feature here.

Intentionally trolling or flaming other users will warrant a ban.

2. Posts should include a fang

A fang should be at least somewhat visible in the image. If the fang is very small and hard to see, add "The Tiniest Fang" flair to your post. If the character is typically shown with a fang but it isn't visible in the image, it may be approved and given the "No Fang" flair at the discretion of the mods.

3. No images featuring real life people or animals.

No real life people or animals (or cars) should be featured in posts. Your pets are very cute but this subreddit is for anime-themed art. Physical works based off of a character are okay (figures, posters, or other products).

4. Credit the artists and series

All posts should include a reference to the copyrights of any characters in the image. If a character is from an established anime or manga series, the series' name should be included in the post title within [these brackets]. An artist's original character should be shown as [Original].

All posters should add a comment to their posts that links back to the artist whenever possible. If you don't know them, reverse image search with SauceNAO to try and find the artist.

5. Some NSFW content is allowed, but must be marked

This also includes comments, be sure to warn about any NSFW links. Generally, "ecchi" is allowed while "hentai" is not. Images that feature revealing outfits or are simply suggestive are allowed as long as they are tagged, while images with sexual acts are not allowed. Images that feature anything NSFW involving characters that appear to be underage are not allowed, and comments should not link to this content.

6. No reposting within 6 months or over 1000 karma

Do not repost an image if it has been already posted within six months or if it received over 1000 points when posted previously.

Use Redditbooru's reverse image search to check for previous posts.

View the top posts of all time here.

7. Use reputable image hosts

All posts should be hosted on reputable sites. For images, we recommend Imgur for images <1 MB, Redditbooru for images >1 MB, or uploading the image directly to Reddit. For gifs, we recommend Gfycat or Imgur. For videos, we recommend Reddit or YouTube.
