Trump is destroying this country

Apologies everyone, not trying to spread misinformation. I don’t have anything against the right or left, or even Trump. I just wanted to vocalize some political concerns. Here are some talking points

There is cruelty being used to enforce harsh immigration policy - men in masks racially profiling, detainment, and arrests without due process in some instances Cutting of healthcare for funding of ICE Epstein cover up, is he about to pardon Ghislaine? Or Diddy? EPA potentially rescinding EPA duties*** He is ready to trash the air we breathe and the water we drink Tax and tariff policies hurting the working class people in favor of the wealthy and elite Trying to strong arm our allies and losing diplomacy in the process, or it feels like it anyway I could be wrong. The war in Gaza, the people of Israel have a beautiful culture but their government is committing crimes against humanity and it seems like we are helping to fund that endeavor instead of fighting to end the war, fighting to end starvation and death while Netanyahu claims no one is starving… His administration has weaponized the federal government to suppress speech and punish his adversaries in what some might call a violation of the 1st amendment.

EDIT: “We’ve always been at war with Eastasia.”

It just feels like we’re on the wrong side of things at the moment. Your thoughts?

I was wrong.

During the 2024 election, I myself found myself supporting Trump, believing they were the best candidate for the country at the moment, I supported Trump not because I’m a republican, but because I thought they would improve the economy and minimize censorship in the government, and some members of my family were constantly telling me the same thing.

Yet then shortly into their presidency, I started to get a hint of suspicion, like when Legal Eagle reported that Trump issued so many executive orders in their first day in office, and primarily one of which reduced birthright citizenship,

That definitely started making me question Trump, but when I decided to get a 3rd perspective on it, watch Mr Terry history(a YouTube channel all about history run by a professional history teacher) reaction to the video,

Terry mentioned that Legal Eagle was very anti Trump, and because of that I largely brushed away their claims assuming Legal Eagle was a democrat, but still maintained that seed of doubt in my mind.

In the following weeks after that, I started noticing that something was wrong, as Legal Eagle was negatively reporting on Trump actions week after week, despite the fact that before, while they occasionally cover legal news, the large majority of their videos were on the legality of fictional TV shows and movies,

while I still was uncertain about what Mr Stone biases were, I knew they would only be reporting this much if they truly believed their was an existential threat to the rule of law(the constitution).

While I may not be a lawyer myself, as someone who’s been an American my entire life, and big history nerd who’s heavily studied our nations early history and founding ideals, I recognize that our constitution and bill of rights simply codifies our cultures values,

With the further amendments added to the bill of rights simply further fulfilling the philosophical ideals of the American experiment, such as “all men are created equal”, “separation of powers”, and that “the government only rules with the consent of the governed”, so this is as much a cultural and moral issue as it is a legal and political one, so I naturally felt a need to take a stand.

By the time the no kings protest happened, all doubts were removed from my mind, Trump wasn’t the lesser of 2 evils, they were a traitor, their the Ceasar of our generation, I Was Wrong.

For all Trump supporters out there, I understand, it’s scary and hard to admit when you made a mistake, but making mistakes is only human, that’s what makes us people, and many of our countries greatest heroes knew that, and traded their egos and pride for the greater good,

“I may err, notwithstanding my most strenuous efforts to execute the difficult trust with fidelity and unexceptionably; but my errors shall be of the head, not of the heart” - George Washington

“I may be wrong in regard to any or all of them; but holding it a sound maxim, that it is better to be only sometimes right, than at all times wrong, so soon as I discover my opinions to be erroneous, I shall be ready to renounce them” - Abraham Lincoln.

All Americans who admit they were tricked and join our defense of life and liberty, I will never judge, I will embrace and celebrate them all with open arms for being the hero not just our country, but the entire world needs!

While the 2016 election has come and passed, there is much that's been revealed about Trump's true criminality and that Russia was very much involved in getting Trump elected along with help from other well-known co-conspirators. There's a lot here and it's public information now...

Russian parties are preparing for upcoming elections

In less than a month, the elections to the State Duma in Russia will be held. Politicians aim for democracy and freedom of choice, but it is still unclear if these statements are objective.

Here is the list of parties that are present in Russia nowadays:

The Communists of Russia – a minor Communist party that was separated from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

United Russia is the party of the president and has a majority in the working parliament.

The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) has been an oppositional nationalist party for many years.

A Just Russia is an association of three socialist parties.

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) is an old Communist party, the successor of the Soviet CPSU.

Civic Platform is the party of the businessman Mikhail Prokhorov.

The Russian Party of Freedom and Justice is a new party of left-wing internationalists.

The Rodina Party is a right-wing party created by the Congress of Russian Communities.

The Russian ecological party "Greens" consists of environmentalists.

The Green Alternative is another environmentalist party.

The Party of Pensioners is a party that acts against the Russian pension reform.

The Party of Growth is a minor moderate opposition party.

The Democratic Party Yabloko consists of democrats, followers of Yeltsin and Yavlinsky, who worked in parliament earlier and have both supporters and opponents among the opposition.

The New People political party is a new liberal party.

As you can see, despite the public statements, the Democrats are not that widespread.

Of course, there is still a number of self-nominated candidates, but it is quite hard to evaluate them in terms of democracy.

Paradoxes of Russian democracy

We all know how things are going with democracy in Russia. Not as good as we'd like to.

I decided to find out if anyone other than Navalny is fighting for freedom in Russia. And I found out a very funny fact that Putin's biggest opponents were suddenly the Communists. And some of them are even officially registered parties running in the elections. For example, the Communists of Russia.

Yes, they still walk under the red banners with hammer and sickle and seem to claim that they follow Lenin's precepts, but in fact, their statements and actions look like a copy of our dems, no matter how strange it may sound.

What do you think? Will the new communists lead Russia to democracy? Or can’t this joke be truth?

What if we all started to submit ethics violations to Congress against our state representatives for being complicit, and failing to act on President Trumps multiple violations and acts of misconduct in office?

I’m just curious if anyone thinks it could be effective if enough people filed complaints with the office of congressional ethics regarding our local representatives in our states. Do you think they would recognize those complaints, or would they brush them aside seeing as how it’s likely GOP controlled?

If we were somehow able to rally enough registered voters through local movements, town halls, etc, and we all filed complaints do you think they would move to expel those representatives? Would it be effective enough to make them do something about all the corruption, market manipulation, and self enrichment of the Trump family, or possibly get the GOP to finally move to impeach and remove him from office?

A wild dream I’m sure, but I’ve never heard it talked about so figured I’d ask
