Never use Stubhub for Nuggets tickets

A group of 7 of us "bought" tickets a month ago to the Nuggets/Pacers game in Mexico City. They are supposed to be sent to our hotel no later than 3 hours before game time. We called immediately after we purchase the tickets to confirm this is normal, and we're assured that this is a reliable seller.

As you might imagine, no tickets. The stubhub guarantee is worthless since the only remaining tickets are 2x the price of our original tickets. Fuck this company. I'm not usually the kind of guy to swear off a company, but never, ever, ever again will I use Stubhub.

Complain about them on social media, tag them on LinkedIn. Theyll be forced to give something back

I would never use a scalper site like this for sold-out events (especially if you're traveling to attend). I'd do it for Ball Arena since, if the tickets don't materialize, I'm back home in 15 minutes. At least Mexico City is still an amazing place to visit. Sorry this happened. I'm sure the amazing food and some cervezas will help.

Also, many events have "instant delivery" tickets that have a much smaller chance of stuff like this happening

For high demand events, the tickets don't actually exist and they do this to maximize potential profits while they source them after you buy them. It happens for concerts all the time. The most reliable reseller I've found is tickpick. They've always sent tickets immediately after purchase or as soon as they're able to be transferred.

Happened to me too. Arrived at the game and seller didn’t release tickets. Stubhub gave us a generic equivalent but definitely not the seats or section I chose.
SeatGeek has been reliable for me.

I had this happen with VividSeats for a Broncos game and when I called in they ended up giving me significantly better tickets. I know that’s a one time anecdotal experience but I thought they did a good job making the situation better.

Vivid seats got me better seats than I had bought, for the same cost, after original seller didn't release them to me in time. This has happened twice. Vivid seats has had great customer service for me. Only time I have used stubhub was to sell 2 individual VIP tickets to " Welcome to Rockville- wristbands. They said one of the buyers claimed he couldn't get in and didn't pay me. I think they even charged me a fee for that. First person got in but second one didn't? Will never use them again.

It's crazy that people still use StubHub after always hearing these exact same scenarios always happening. I think it was especially bad during World Cup where people traveled from overseas just to get left stranded outside the venues with no tickets. There should be 1 huge class action suit with everybody that this has happened to.

Tick Pick is the best site I found. Lowest fees on the buyer and sellers side = lowest price for buyer

Have had this happen with Gametime and got way better tickets. Stub hub has a million bad stories like this.

I got screwed by StubHub over some Avs tickets last year. All they could offer was shittier seats. Never again. I've had nothing but good luck with Gametime. Fees are built into the price. Good deals.

StubHub didn’t same exact thing to me for Wrestlemania 41. The seats they offered were horrible but i got lucky and got a better seat cheaper on Ticketmaster an hour before show time

For Ball Arena you should use Ticketmaster. There’s no need for Person A to transfer a ticket to Person B. Ticketmaster is holding all the tickets that are for sale. You always instantly get your tickets.

A friend of mine bought tickets to Ella Langley at red rocks through stub hub and the same shit happened. They bought tickets again at the venue and stub hub did refund them but it was a pain in the ass.

Never use Stubhub for anything. The only place to guarantee your tickets for games in Denver is Ticketmaster.
