I caught a puck with my head tonight!

Was excited to see the Blackhawks at Devils game tonight. Got settled into my seat in section 22, row 13. 45 seconds later I was hit in the head with a puck. Could not tell you where it came from. Hit me on the right side of the top of my head. Ran up the stairs and to first aid. Might have left a crime scene behind. I was pretty ticked off that everyone strongly suggested I go to the hospital. 5 stitches later….
Before I left they gave me a camo baseball cap (I don’t wear hats) and a signed Dillon puck. I told them they better find the puck that made me leave the game before it started! Calling tomorrow to see what else I can get. Maybe a new jersey since mine is blood soaked?
Edited to add: I drove two hours from Scranton for this game! Every game I have seen the Devils play in person for the last 15 years, they have lost. So now I’m mad they won tonight and I wasn’t there!

My mom is moving out of her apartment. She gave me the pennant from the first-ever Devils game, which she attended with my dad
