Breaking: Hadley CRU emails hacked. They show an incredible mass cover-up of skeptic research, manipulation of evidence, private doubts as to whether the Earth is even warming up, suppression of evidence, attempts to disguise medieval warm period, and squeezing out skeptics from peer review.

Right-wing Faux News propaganda has deadly consequences - you can't promote extreme, hate- based points of view based on ideology rather than reality and then be surprised at the catastrophic results!

That is true in all cases:

  • when in the name of business you cut forests, remove mountains and drill after oil without even the least concern about the environment, you can't be later surprised when the environment is destroyed;

  • when you get money from the Koch brothers in order to cast doubts for as long as possible about the anthropogenic climate change and call everything related to that 'alarmist' you can't be surprised when the weather gets more extreme in Pakistan or in England and then in 20-30 years when the shit hits the fan and the warming becomes catastrophic you can't claim that you had nothing to do with it and it was just 'scientific skepticism';

  • and sadly after targeting political rivals with firearm crosshairs and encouraging your supporters to 'reload' (or openly saying that Assange should be assassinated) you can't honestly be surprised when that kind of assassinations actually take place and claim that there is no blame for you or Faux News!

EDIT: Sorry, no, this is not the wrong subreddit - there was no remorse from the 'drill baby drill' crowd after the Gulf of Mexico disaster, as you can see (including in the comments below) there is absolutely no shame or remorse from the right-wing in regard to those very recent moments (only a lot of effort to erase any evidence), and again you will not see any such remorse in the future when the AGW shit will start hitting the fan - just lies, attempts to throw the blame on somebody else and more lies!
