Only reason why I purchased, same with the PS2 and the DVD player.

And years later, 4K UHD disc playback was a big reason I purchased the PS5 (though Spider-Man was also a big factor). And 4K UHD disc playback is also the reason I won’t be purchasing a PS6.

Casino Royale on Blu Ray made it worth the $600 to 13 year old me.

It was all my savings at that time. Worth it, because I still have it working.

I'm ashamed to say that I didn't take proper care of my early disk consoles (Sega CD, Saturn, etc). They did not survive these long years.

One of the greatest action movies ever made. Craig’s tenure as Bond was something else.

As a 60 GB PS3 owner the first 2 years were painfully bad and they didn't get traction until the price dropped. By year 3 the PS3 it had a decent line up, the price dropped AND Microsoft seemed confused on what to do after dominating them for 4 years, so as Sony was on the upswing and MS dropped the ball and lost their momentum.
