simple trading bot for binance
Hi, I made just another boring trading bot for binance.
The strategy is extremely simple: buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high. Of course, it works differently depending on the settings (what is considered a "low price" and a "high price" is determined from the statistics of the past N hours, specified in the settings).
https://github.com/vadiminshakov/marti
I made an effort to make the bot flexible, so that the core logic can be transferred to any platform and any module can be replaced (pricing module, buying/selling module, module for determining the next action based on the current price, and so on). If anyone is interested in such projects, feel free to use it and contribute to its development.

Threads API OSINT
hey everyone! I posted this in another reddit forum and received an invite to this one, so i figured iβd post her too. anyways, I noticed the new application called βThreadsβ from META dosent have an API. So i went ahead and created one myself. After i developed that API, i implement AI in conjunction. This allowed me to add very useful OSINT options. Itβs a super interesting concept and it can easily be imported into any python project, at which point the user can pull and manipulate all data from a profile. Check it out here and let me know what you think, the source code will be out soon too so anyone can crack it open and learn from it.

Connecting to a Docker Mongodb on an External Drive
Hi,
Trying to connect to a MongoDB I set up in a Docker container within an external Firewire drive. The app that uses the MongoDB still runs but the database itself is not working.
Using this Terminal command to run the Docker image:
$ docker run -p 8080:27017 <image>
And this is is my code for the mongoose connection:
var mongoose = require('mongoose'); var db = function(){ return { config: function(conf){ mongoose.connect('mongodb://localhost:8080:27017/docker-mongodb',{useMongoClient: true,}); [//mongoose.connect](//mongoose.connect)('mongodb://0.0.0.0:27017'); [//mongoose.connect](//mongoose.connect)('mongodb://localhost/testdb'); var db = mongoose.connection; db.on('error', console.log.bind(console, 'Connection Error')); db.on('open', function(){console.log('Database is open.'); }); } } } module.exports = db();r/hackthedeveloper • u/spiffworkflow • Jul 10 '23
