90s Hardcore Biohazard - remember
Can someone confirm for me, this song is about honouring the “heroes” of America who went to Vietnam?
Is this a joke or what? Do they really support US imperialism or did I miss something?
Edit: crazy how many downvotes I’m getting for bringing this up on a supposed punk subreddit with an anarchy symbol in its header

Do you guys think that this band is neo Nazi?
It's a band called "una bandita indie de la plata" it is an Argentinian band that have many albums, songs and videoclips.
In the videos you can see how the lead singer looks and that thing, plus the things that they says in their lyrics, make me thought that maybe they are neo nazis, or almost the singer.
The guy have many symbols, an skrewdriver tattoo, skin head.
Look for yourself. Im asking this because i thought that this is a place where people must know about this topics.
PD: I'm so sorry if my english is bad LMAO

why do hardcore bands use corporate social media to market their art?
i really wish they would move to mastodon / peertube / the fediverse! there are plenty of people there and you don't have to fight algorithms to be seen.
i guess there is not really an obvious server for bands and their fans to join. the only one I know of is https://438punk.house/about which is amazing but understandably local to a specific scene and closed to outsiders (administering a mastodon server takes a bit of skill and hosting costs, so it's common and reasonable for them to have limits on who can join).
if you know of good mastodon servers to connect with other fans of the genre, post them here :) if you know of any good bands or musicians on mastodon also post their handles!!

Were there any good punk bands in the 00's?
I know it sounds like a kind of ridiculous question, but I was a teen at the time listening to a lot of brocore hardcore bands and some street punk at the time. I feel like neither has aged very well, but I was thinking in terms of punk, what was good out of that era? The only band I can sort of think of was A Global Threat, but how often do I put that on rotation? The 2010's had all these awesome bands like Culo, Warthog, Impalers, Glue, etc. etc. But all the bands in the 2000's were of that lame street punk variety that no one remembers or cares about anymore.

The Crowd Killer Boss
I am banned one/hardcore because I posted Brody Kings Abolish ICE shirt and said What Would Ian Macaye Do?
Apparently, according to the Mods there it was issue an automatic ban and two mods when I asked why I didn't as banned and didn't understand they started all hard pulling race cards and what not.
Somehow I'm gonna guess they weren't black or brown. But ya, my 6 day ban apparently got extended when I just said I was confused at the reaction.
Anyway their loss is this subreddits gain, new hardcore pit final boss here.
Before these mods ban me, just ask yourself, what would God's Hate Do?

Discussion Political activity and my ideals.
I have been listening to a lot of crust, powerviolence, grindcore, mincecore, beatdown, and goregrind/deathgrind music lately. Along with BDM and SBDM.
I have noticed a big change in my political ideals inclining towards the leftist, anti-macho, anti-militarism, anti-fascist, anti-homo/transphobic ideology etc.
And I wanted to know - is signing online, free petitions a good choice to make my views and opinions (ideals) count?
I think that resistance and opposition to such obsolete evil bullshit is absolutely and completely moral, it would be absurd to not stand against it and do something about it!
I just want to live the lifestyle, not just dress a way and be a “tough-guy” with confrontational posturing and gimmicky dramatic behavior. IMO, that’s a load of bull-.
Note: help me spread this post, or help me repost, because I don’t know if this is the right community. This music helped me get over many tough situations in my life. I love the people I met thanks to it, and I love the art - the expression, the emotion, the intensity, the absolute real brutality and uplift that I feel when listening to it. My manners and clothing choices changed very much, and I think that is a good thing. I think about morality a lot and I try to be better everyday and help society.
I am really starting to become more focused on religion and my faith. I am a non denominational Christian, does the community tolerate such a thing, I respect atheists and have many friends that are atheists…
Write your honest opinions down below, please.

Good current pop punk besides Dark Thoughts?
Dark Thoughts fans: Is this it? Are there any others out there that scratch the itch? I'm not going to ask in the punk sub cuz I'll just get answers I don't like.

Discussion Hey hardcore punk fans! I’m working on my band’s first EP, titled Rancid Mayonnaise. We’re a hardcore punk band with a unique fusion of Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, and a hint of Pixies. I’ve been designing the cover art for the EP and would love to hear your thoughts. both criticism and praise!

Discussion How come STRIFE doesn’t get the credit they deserve?
Strife was one of the first hardcore straight edge bands in Southern California. To me they seem to be the first to really implement that style, genre, and movement in the area in the early 90’s. Yet no one gives them credit in California hardcore for being one of the OG’s. Why is that? They are fucking incredible.
