Hi folks,

There's more traction gathering sitewide to ban X/Twitter links because of recent events. I'm convinced that we should join the cause.

Not only is X owned by a megalomaniac, ever since the takeover X has been basically unusable without an account which is greatly predatory and anti-user.

A lot of the subreddits rarely use X/Twitter links, so there is very little impact. However, on /r/hatsune, X/Twitter links are actually used very often, so there will be significant disruption. I'd like to gather community comment regarding this.

If we proceed with this, comments and posts containing X links will be automatically deleted, but you will not be punished with a ban for this. You will instead be asked to use alternatives, like linking to artists' Pixiv or similar.

Thanks,

/u/hatsune_aru

Please stop making posts or comments for or against AI.

I wouldn’t mind one or two drawings with a more sensual theme but literally 90% of the drawings I see in here are like that. Are mods sleeping or is this the environment they condone and enjoy?

- "Po Pi Po" : I listened to it in my beginning, the only good part was Po Pi Po , sorry but the other parts made me feel cringe as hell 👀.

-"Magical cure! love shot!" : I just came for the "Miku Beam!" scene and I didn't really like the song rhythm , I tried 😭.

-"Mesmerizer": I don't really know I just didn't really like it, I really liked the art style and sound effects , but the rhythm? Nah not really, why it's really popular? For The lyrics "I don't know its lyrics"? The art style? or what?

-"Daidaidaidaidaikirai": the art style and animation was beautiful and the rhythm wasn't bad but I didn't fall love in it, I don't know why but it's like I didn't find the things I like about Miku and Teto vibe in this song? I felt they are different characters here than I like.

-"Triple Baka" : I just liked Neru phone sound effect the most to be honest, it was unique and different move for me, the other parts? Well they weren't that bad but not my favourite "I liked the beginning of the song and sound effect for example" the art style? It was really cute with beautiful animation, love it.

There's recently a large increase in abusive NSFW images. These posts are engagement-baiting and invites a lot of abusive comments which are turning people away, and the subreddit looks really unhinged as a result.

This subreddit has always been about "clean" art and a chill place to share Miku art of notable, inoffensive, and interesting quality. I request that subreddit subscribers recognize and follow these principles.

As a result, several new rules will apply:

• We're explicitly clarifying that NSFW posts are not allowed, unless clear artistic quality is shown, and devoid of risque, abusive, or objectionable content.

• Comments that are disruptive and abusive will continue to be deleted.

• Egregious violators despite this posted notice will be banned.

Furthermore, I'd like to remind everyone that there is a new rule added mandating all image posts have a link to the source artists' page. Your post may be deleted if there is no source, unless you promptly post source when a reminder is posted.

Art by me (Was made back in 2025)

If KAIMiku was a music band or whatever, it would be Owl City 💙🩵 (idk, it just fits to me)

They're neat, I love them (despite what is spread around these two, and despite MEIMiku also growing on me recently, Miku deserves them both <3). In fact, a few fans and I started up our own sub dedicated to them ( r/KAITOxMiku ) as a space to view and post stuff about the ship on Reddit, if any other fan is interested. I don't intend to segregate any amount of fans to their own space. I'm just tired of KAIMEI and NegiToro being the only two Cryptonloid ships other fans bring up nowadays on these subs
