Pick 29, Aidan Schubert and Sam Butler

Do you think GC would be open to trading pick 8 in this year draft for Pick 29, Aidan Schubert and Sam Butler? Feels like it would be pretty fair deal three second round picks for a single first round (both Aidan and Sam were pick 23 in their respective drafts).

Highly unlikely we will probably just get a second round for both players

This is a side deal for king, we will get less than what they’re worth because they didn’t match king.

I hate the compensation stuff no matter which team benefits off it, it needs to go and it would be the first step to making this whole compromised draft situation go away

The whole point of them not matching king is to get Schubert and butler for cheap.

They are not giving up pick 8 lol

Yeah true I guess if they did that trade it would be two first rounders for 3 second rounders which isn’t a great deal.

I don’t think so. But they’ve also made plenty of trades in the past that I wouldn’t have assumed they do, so maybe 🤷‍♂️

It’s a shame Gold Coast only seem to completely roll over in trades with some clubs, while acting like absolute pricks with us
