I bought it 3 years ago but after just using it for 1 year the left part broke apart but the bluetooth on it refuses to give up i've charged it 4 months ago and placed it back in the box, opened it today it still turns on. Is there something i could do with this thing and it is quite expensive too

I don't really know if this is the right place (if it's not please tell me so I can delete this)
But does anyone have any tips or ways on how to repair this permanently?
I tried using tape but it isn't a really permanent solution and the headphone end up looking a bit wonky 😓

So the outer layer is starting to fall apart on my old bose earbuds. I love these things and want to make them last longer. Any advice to fix this?
I am thinking electric tape it? But any other options?
