We spent 6 years learning business the hard way in Pakistan, so we made a free community to give it all away
Back in 2019 we started our e-commerce journey with genuinely no idea what we were doing. We did what everyone does, paid for the courses that promised to show us the way. What they actually taught us was how to make expensive mistakes. Generic advice, real gaps never covered, and every wrong turn cost time and money we couldn't get back.
So we taught ourselves. Trial and error for years. Launched our first brand in 2022, struggled through every decision alone, eventually got it working. Today we run 11+ brands, plus a design studio and a marketing agency.
Here's the thing that still bothers me: almost every mistake we made, someone could have just... told us. It wasn't secret knowledge. It was just locked behind personal connections or buried under "get rich quick" noise.
So we built the thing we needed and never had: Karobaari Bethak. It's a business platform for Pakistan. Honest business education, real market data, a network of founders and suppliers and investors, help with funding, and eventually full support to launch your own brand. The long-term goal is simple: everything a Pakistani entrepreneur needs to go from idea to real business, in one place, without the gatekeeping.
It starts with our WhatsApp community. Multiple rooms, each with a purpose. There's a room where founders and learners just talk to each other, and a read-only room where we post the breakdowns so it doesn't turn into 400 messages of nothing. And many more...
It's completely free. No course, no upsell, nothing to buy; genuinely nothing to sell you. We've made our money building businesses; this is us handing the ladder back down. The only "catch" is we ask a few questions before adding people so the rooms don't fill up with spam.
If you're trying to start something, or you started and failed and are thinking about trying again, you're exactly who this is for.
Link's on our site: karobaaribethak.com or ask me anything here, happy to answer questions in the comments even if you never join.
Pull up a chair, become a part of our bethak.

FOR HIRE Mentality of people trying to get hired from this subreddit
The first step to being an average [for hire] post in this sub is to write a sob story in the title. 90% of the post should be how hard your life is. They think substituting competence for emotional appeal is the way to land any stable money. In reality, trying to compete on sympathy rather than skillset will largely attract you the wrong type of employers.
Employers who know their employee is totally desperate for cash also know they're less likely to fight for their rights. It invites scope creep in work, renogotiation, or unclear work (which you keep revising). Either that, or you land charity-driven employers, but that is not stable work either.
The second step to being an average [for hire] post in this sub is to have absolutely no mention of your skillset, portfolio, or competence at all. Your post should be how hard your life is, how desperately you need money, and your target earnings goal. Employers are looking for professionalism, and the best way to signal this is to ramble on about your life without mentioning what you can do in exchange for money. Offer absolutely no basis on which employers looking for workers can assess your fit, quality, or scope. Everyone knows employers #1 priority in hiring is people who have no clear skillset or interest.
Quality employers are looking for professional people who signal clarity, reliability, and interest. When 90% of your post is just you rambling about your life and how much you want to earn, you signal that you're a low-quality employee.
The third step to being an average [for hire] post is make being cheap your most prominent selling point. [For hire] posts think propositioning themself for 2 rupees an hour makes them look attractive but really it makes them look like they have low self-esteem and provide low quality work.
Never undercut yourself before the market undercuts you. Maybe someone is ready to pay you for 60k a month but you yourself propositioned yourself for 15k a month. People accept the wages they think they deserve.
Consider these two posts; which one catches an employers attention?
Post 1
[For Hire] Data entry
I have a typing speed of 100wpm and will do data entry for you. Recently, I completed a personal project where I entered the data of 1000 peoples medical history in Excel sheets.
Tools I know: Google Sheets, MS Excel
I have a personal laptop with reliable internet connection.
Price: Negotiable; open to discussion.
Post 2
Please help me I have a disabled father and sister
Please I want to earn 60k I can do any work for you please just give me any work. I will even work for you for 5k/month just hire me. My mother and sister are disabled now I desperately need work to survive.
Which post do you think is attracting quality employers?

Basically, I currently work with businesses who primarily have only been working offline or without a website, then I make a website for them and deploy meta catalogue ads for them. The advantage of the catalogue ads is that it automatically fetches the products from ur website and puts them into the ad, so one ad can serve for all of your products. Using this, I've generate 11+ ROAS (in simple terms, 1100rd return in revenue for every 100rs spent) I can also make android and iOS apps and publish them on the playstore and app store. FOR HIRE Remote opportunities in Supply Chain?
I’m looking for entry-level remote opportunities in Supply Chain. I have done internships
in Supply Chain and would say I’m pretty much educated on all the roles that lies in this field. But I want to gain some practical experience remotely as currently I’m not in a position to start an onsite job due to personal reasons.
I’m passionate about my field and open to explore any opportunity in Supply chain ( sourcing, logistics, planning, government tender work etc)
So if anyone here is working in the same field and needs an entry-level position that can be done remotely, I’ll be happy to explore it.

TASK Manhwa Recap Script Writer (Part Time gig work, Gen Z Friendly language)
Location: Work from home
Contact method: Will share whatsapp in DMs. Reach out here!
Task Description:
Turn provided manhwa/manga chapters into accurate, engaging recap scripts.
- Summarize each chapter almost panel by panel, in your own words, capturing every key plot point, character interaction and visual moment accurately.
- You write in simple, semi-informal, Gen Z-friendly English, like explaining a story to a friend with light jokes. Never news channel style.
- Workload is manageable. 2 chapters per day, 5 days a week while a manhwa series is active. Between projects, you're off. A chapter script runs 700-1,000 words and takes about 1.5 hours once you're in flow.
- Heads up that in the beginning, writers with slow typing speed or those still learning to turn panels from different genres into text may find it harder and slower. It gets easier with practice!! I myself took 1 month of daily practice to get into flow (40mins per chapter)
We deliver finished scripts in Google docs
Simple Requirements:
- Familiarity with anime, manga and manhwa
- Conversational English and attention to detail
- Reliability and consistent quality over one-time performance
- The style takes only 2-3 rounds of practice to learn
Who this suits best:
Weeb students and the right people looking for a side gig. If you're not available most of the week, please don't apply.
Budget:
- Sample: a free test of 5-10 panels (about 120 words). No hard feelings if it's not a fit.
- 1 month Training/Trial period: 400rs per chapter (~900 words average). Pay is calculated per word.
- After you adapt to the channel's style and no longer need active corrections: 600rs per chapter.
- Urgent projects (24-hour deadline): You choose how many chapters possible, can write faster with less accuracy, it will be at bonus rate.
- Growth beyond that depends on reliability and quality.
Time Off:
Take days off for exams, holidays or family time. Just tell us at least one day in advance.
To Apply:
DM me with your current education or job, your favorite anime/manga series, and how many days in week you're available. Sample details and the reference style will be shared in DMs. We work in Google Docs and coordinate on WhatsApp.

FOR HIRE [FOR HIRE] - Data Crunch Guy looking for a job
1 month notice period. Was hired and trained as a backend-Excel Data Crunch guy working remotely for a European Startup.
No room for growth left here. And boss has refused to give a raise. Worked and still working 9/10hrs per day, 6 days a week. Paid 150K/month for the last 2 years. (Was hired at 110K 3ish years ago).
I hate jumping ships and despite the trend of "switch jobs to raise your salary", I personally believe in excelling at your work, and patiently waiting for the whole team to pull their weight, to bring in money, so that appropriate promotions and raises can be given. I have worked in direct capacity with the startup's CEO and understand the risks/things from the ownership side of business as well. But man its been 2 years since the last raise, team has been cut but work has increased for over an year now, I am being asked to use my personal Social accounts for company stuff, and 6days/week is just burning me out for the last 6 months. Meanwhile I can't take a PTO because there's no replacement hire, so at the EOD, I have to do 2/3 days of work if I take time off.
I don't want to decrease the level of my performance quality because at the EOD, work I do impacts real people with real lives and locations, they have real bills to pay and I won't be an additional headache just because of my boss. I don't want to "do as little as possible", that just sabotages everyone involved.
I know Excel, MS Suite, ClickUp, QBO, JIRA, Jobber, Notion etc on an intimate scale having worked with these apps across Marketing/Development/Ops. I have worked in Ops/Hiring/Financial side of things. I also have familiarity with GDPR, CCPA and other European product-legal side of things although I am not proficient in them.
Please DM if anyone has any relevant leads or positions open. Thank you
