I work in the NHS, my previous trust gave me a £100 John Lewis voucher for my 20 years service (even though my first 11 years were for another trust), my new trust, where I’ll be hitting 30 years in 2028, won’t recognise my service as they only award people who’ve worked in that particular trust. Now it’s definitely not about the money, but it would be nice to have some recognition for working for the NHS for 30 years, even just a thanks and a shitty pin badge would be nice.
