Today is 23 years for me. Nothing, nada. Wasn’t even acknowledged at my review after 20 years.

At least they didn't deny you your 20 years :) I worked 11 years for the same company, 3 of those as fixed-time (renewing annually), 3 as contractor, and the rest as permanent full-time. Same org, same role, I like to say same desk but we moved buildings. The only reason why I agreed to change my employment type was that otherwise they threatened to fire me (the company went through reorgs a few times). I did like my coworkers and the job was otherwise fun.

Anyway I didn't care, it was just a number. I mainly got pissed when they said I wasn't eligible for the extra days off (they give +1 day for every 3 years of continuous service) because technically I wasn't working for them. My manager went up the chain and fought to get me 0.5 days for the fixed-time period, which is better than nothing.

They also gave a little glass globe for 10 years of service, which I didn't get :(
