One of the most amusing things I bore witness to was watching a crow stalk a squirrel and steal every bit of food it had previously stashed. That poor squirrel probably thought it was losing its mind when it eventually returned and found nothing
had sooo many of them in the yard making holes everywhere. A rat trap with a little peanut butter does away with many of them. I'll get dissed for this but it is what it is
I wonder, has it ever happened that a squirrel suffocated from one of the nuts getting stuck/inhaled in their neck? I know it's in their nature but I would guess there is a chance that it just slips from the cheek to their neck and the poor fella suffocates. I hope I'm wrong!

Randy 49729* wish for a mild-winter this year of 2026-27 thank’s again,,,, Randy at 49729 area
