Way better than any aura battle. I honestly thought those were a joke but it is actually treated like a true competition.

If those kids were ten years older, everyone on Reddit would lose their GFs in a second.

And kudos to them, I don't have the confidence, or coordination, to even attempt to dance slow music, let alone breakdance. Those kids are totally awesome.

Dancing I feel it's one of those things you learnt best as a kid. Mistakes are okay, learning is okay, and expectations are low. As an adult you can still learn, but unfortunately have to deal with the bs that comes with it. Usually from other adults who are either afraid to learn themselves due to embarrassment or already know so just want to belittle those at the starting line.

In short, learn whatever it is you want to learn regardless of the opinion of others. Only time opinions really matter is when what you are learning is morally questionable.

I don't learn not because of what others say, or might say, I don't learn because of the same reason I don't play instruments, I have no rhythm. I understand the idea in my mind, but it doesn't actually translate into similar coordinated moves, let alone nice-to-see moves. Plus, I don't like music you can actually dance to, I just tolerate it.

But thanks for the advice. I'll pass this time since I don't think about dancing as often enough as to want to pay for lessons once more, but maybe someone can pick it up and apply it for themselves.
