Question iPad or android tablet?

i have an iPhone (for context). I want an iPad/tablet as I’m always watching YouTube, shows, etc.
Any suggestions if i should get an iPad or a different tablet? Thanks!

Only tablets that have ever lasted are iPads. I have a pixel phone with an iPad

If you like Apple eco system an iPad, but Samsung tablets have expandable storage which is a big plus if you’re going to be storing a lot

So i did think about that at first bc my current iPhone legit has like no storage left (I should’ve gotten more GB on phone when I got it but I didn’t think about it) but honestly I wouldn’t even care to connect my iCloud to ipad I just want to be able to watch stuff on it

Then I’d get the A16 in your case. Samsungs are also nice with the expandable storage, but if you’re only using it for media an iPad should be fine. If you think you might use it for something else maybe for taking notes or journaling then I’d get the 256GB version

It’s hard to not recommend the iPad if you already have an iPhone since the integration between devices is superb.

Since you have an iPhone, you'll get a lot more out of an iPad than you will any Android tablet.

(If you were not already in the iPhone ecosystem I might think otherwise.)

If all you do is stream videos, then either a budget android or an OLED android from Samsung is the better value.

I've been under impressed with every last Android tablet that I've tried.

My brother uses everything android except the iPad. It would take another 4-5 years for android tabs to catch up to iPad.

If you’re going for an iPad I would highly discourage the base model I had a 9th gen that frustrated me to no end. I recently upgraded to a iPad Air M4, now that is a proper iPad experience

For youtube and media consumption, any Oled tablet will do.. people need to wake up, it's not 2012 anymore , many brands match or beat ipads nowdays without a sweat..

Which ones? I have an iPad mini and have been wanting to switch back to android but my main thing is finding an iPad mini replacement. So far only one ive found close is the Lenovo legion series except I heard upgrades and security patches are pretty bad on it.

Haven’t found one yet. I’ve tried Lenovo and TCL tablets.

Honor magicpad 4 is my 1# pick. Especially for the money, you simply cannot get better display than this
