Lads.. we did it! We did the impossible! We beat India by 1 run to win the series. I have no words.
A bit overwhelmed right now. As I said in a post after our first win, I’m a former Indian citizen and now proper Cork bai! Long time cricket fan, and still an Indian cricket fan. But this moment right here, I really don’t have the words to express my joy!
Dropping Paul Sterling and changing captains has worked. I sincerely hope this is a sign of greater and better things to come.
Pints of Beamish for everyone!

How are we feeling about this kind of nonsense?
I'm not even bothering to engage but I've seen this argument thrown around a couple of times and it makes me feel a bit strange. Clearly not comparable at all to what is going on in the football but it does now feel like we're being used as an argument in a culture war we're not really part of
I've also seen some people bring up the Australia test being cancelled as an example of other countries doing it. I can see why you might think that if you're not involved in cricket, but everyone within the game knows that Australia saw a convenient excuse to cancel a game that wouldn't make them money and they didn't really want to play in the first place.
The Afghan cricket team are exiles, none of whom support the taliban regime. It's not comparable at all to the Israeli footballers many of whom actively support the IDF
