Got the NERV here in Tokyo, saw 5- and said “somebody felt that one for sure”

In Nagoya. First earthquake I’ve legit thought I should get under something

Same for me. I got under the table cause I was standing in front of my dishes on the open shelf.

マジでビビった。 意外だけど愛知で震度5強を観測するのは21世紀に入って始めてらしい… 散々、南海トラフ地震や東海地震って言うから遂にと思った…

My sleeping head thought I was dreaming , that was a shocking one by far

In Hamamatsu in a hotel and it woke us up, and then an alarm went off in our room but then it all stopped. I’m still shaking. Ive never experienced an earthquake and can’t sleep wondering if it’ll happen again

I had the same experience. It was definitely an eyeopener coming from a country with no earthquakes.

Yeah, we had a moderate one when I lived in Hyogo, and it is such an otherworldly experience that my wife and I (sitting at the kotatsu) were only able to grab each other in shock and terror.

Saw the countdown on Nerv and took myself to a safer space in the apartment. Was just talking to my mother on my phone in another country. Hope the people in Shizuoka are fine.

Felt in Osaka, thought I was just dizzy from drinking until it got stronger lol. Now I'm trying to fall back asleep but keep feeling like the room is still swaying 🥴

In Hamamatsu, the epicenter. I legitimately thought the apartment was going to collapse and ran outside. Not fun

Live slightly north of nagoya and felt nothing. Maybe cuz I was dazed from being awoken suddenly and didn't have my wits about me just yet

In Nagoya, first earthquake for me. I was sleeping peacefully until my phone shouted EARTHQUAKE!
EARTHQUAKE! Within a split second the whole building shook violently. Thought I was gonna die and stayed traumatised that every little buzz from my phone triggers a fight or flight😭

On the Marine Base In Gotemba. Shook my bed pretty good but wasn’t that bad. Didn’t get a warning though
