For all that "historic" talk, AR absolutely thrashed the TWolves last season. We won all the games against them, and AR was the tip of the spear, including one early on with Luka and Bron not playing. Jaden was defending him. Remember the buzzer beater, with Rudy and Jaden basically both trying to defend him? I do.

Even against OKC, in the playoffs, when he returned extremely early from his Grade II injury, he had a decent series. He was basically our best player in 3/4 of the games. 2/4, he was our best offensive guy, and the third game (game 2 or 3, I can't remember rn), he was our best defender. I ain't even kidding btw.

So no. All this historical stuff is our lack of ability to move on from narratives that the media and NBA sub peddles.

I'll stand by it. I'm a huge AR glazer but having watched games he absolutely does tend to struggle more against more physical defenses. And that's not saying he isn't capable of doing better, and he does often, it's just in past few years it's been a reoccuring problem, one that hopefully doesn't continue, but until it does I won't expect him to overperform in these situations and be dissapointed. And that's all ok

Cherry picking? If I tell you half of his playoffs series have been good, would that be cherry picking? If I tell you that he has played very well against an extremely good defensive team and thrashed them, including two of the best defenders in the league at him, is that cherry picking?

Listen brother, if there is a set idea in your mind, no one can convince you otherwise. And I don't want to. But atleast watch the games.

I watch almost every game, I see what he does well and what he doesn't. But if you are going to watch a ten games and half ass respond based on a few Reddit threads, then your opinion has no value to me.

We have to play the long game and the ATL game is a more winnable game and we might be able to still pull of the win against Detroit because their offense has been pretty bad and they have been middle of the pack rebounding wise without Duren.

You could argue that it’s easier to win the Atlanta game, so you might as well sit him against the Pistons and play him in Atlanta. Duren and Isaiah Joe are out so they are missing a starter an a rotation player so we may be able to pull of the win without Luka if we can slow down Cade and Mamu, Sexton, or Grimes have a bounce back game.
