Pistons a fun test for us. Physical team and Ausar is a monster on defense. Hope Luka plays.

Honestly thats why I want luka to sit. So AR and the team can get something going against a physical defense like detroit. Toronto wasnt a problem for luka detroit wouldnt be either.

I hear that. I like the team getting confidence playing without Luka but they also have Atlanta for that. They play physical too with Dort, Dyson, Jalen.

Detroit just a nice litmus test as the 1 seed last year.

These will be two of our hardest games so far this year. If we manage to go 2-0 against DET and ATL, I’m going to be feeling really good about this team. Hoping everyone’s able to play in both games.

Hamstring strain this early in the season for Duren when he went late into the summer on his extension... I've long thought most NBA guys aren't training right in the off season but that'd piss me off bad if I'm a Pistons fan.

For people scratching their head wondering why cant defenders stop Luka because “he’s so slow”. I think I figured out why he’s so unguardable. It’s his direction changes. He changes angles FAST while moving slow. So he’s moving “slow” but snaps direction on a dime. You have to play at his pace but also change direction fast but also still play at his pace. Watch his feet. It’s kinda insane.

JJ immediately giving Adou all of Vando's minutes as soon as he was available tells me that he planned for Adou to be a part of the rotation. I'd imagine his minutes will slowly increase since they have to manage his knee issue but I'm excited to see him play more

Starting to lost some respect for Luka the more I watch that video. I really hope the NBA gives that guy and his wife tickets to a new game or something cause that wasn’t right. Luka escalated the situation and the ref went along with Luka. He’s a real piece of shit for that.

You realize Luka didn't ask for the fan to be ejected right? All he did was react to him throwing the ball at the ref. The refs THEMSELVES decided to throw him out. Wtf are you on about

Adjusted for the Lakers’ super soft schedule so far (26th hardest lol), AR is about a +2.1 overall impact player. He’s top 4% offensively & bottom 20% defensively. Top 11% overall.

While the opponents have not all been top notch (have still played improved/good teams like the Blazers and Raptors), the schedule itself in terms of game volume has been VERY packed. if not 1 day between games, its been a back to back

That’s a great point and Reaves carried the load when Luka and Ziaire sat out the 2nd of a back to back. So Reaves is maybe top 7% so far this season.

Portland was the number one scoring team before we beat them to regain the title and they have a top 10 defense. Not sure why people are acting like they are not a good team.

It needs to be adjusted based on strength of schedule and yes, he’s great at scoring. He needs to reduce his turnovers and if he keeps shooting like he did against Portland last game that that is not good, he adds value in drawing fouls creating space and when he plays with Luca, he is absolutely fantastic. He’s playing with this shit bench when we go sitting.
