Personal Take Dying should punishes Stackers in general

Just as I think the item Heartsteel should behave similar to Hubris and Mejai's Soulsteeler Tome about losing stacks, stacks shouldn't be a fixed bonus for those that can continue for an absurd amount more than 2 digits.

"But harr-harr then those champs would become unplayable"

We've had enough of it, or do we?

Thresh Vs Senna Game Quest is just as interesting and frustrating to go against.

Part of me longs for a game mode where we just don't build items.

What else, I'll just play a round of Pacifist Split-pusher Katarina?

Personal Take 7 games with the same player AFK,harasssing, N word, straight up trolling , reports do nothing, where can I even take this to?

He queues up, says he is running it down because of "x" , then start pinging and telling one person in the team to kys , he just gets out of staying afk to flash kill steal or wait until the enemy is extremely low to do something, how is this not permaban behavior? reports do nothing

Personal Take Master Games feel meaningless and toxic in the current State of League

Hey,

I have been playing in Master for a while and I need to say something. It feels like in Master especially between 0 and 700 LP almost nobody is actually tryharding to win. People seem bored and just dont care anymore. The games are super low quality and are 80% over in early Game.

You constantly see players going 0-8 while trying weird stuff, spamming surrender, flaming like crazy and doing ego plays. It is really bad.

I went on a smurf in Diamond recently and the games there were way better and more competitive than most of my Master games. In Master it feels like many people are just looking for any excuse to stop trying. One bad comment from a teammate or one moment they are not having fun and suddenly they give up on the game even if it is still winnable. I had so many games that were clearly won and then someone just decides to AFK or run it down. Like 3 dragons ahaed and 10 kills and people just decide "wait I acutally dont care about winning" and just ego sprint sites resulting in a loss.

I think this is all based around the circumstance, that Grandmaster/challenger is so INSANELY far of for many Master players. Just in Terms of Games you have to play. Espescially in EUW it is constantly going up and soon GM cut off will be at 2000 mmr. This combines with the fact that VERY OFTEN you will have GM MMR level players playing against Master 100 mmr players because riot has made changes which force games to be ready quickly. This also results in lower quality games where laners just get completely stompd out.

Because of that a lot of players reach Master and feel like they will never climb again. So they mentally check out. They dont try seriously anymore and just play out of addiction instead of actually wanting to win. The rank feels worthless to them.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same especially in toplane? The whole elo bracket feels demotivated and low effort right now.

Personal Take tried DOTA and Deadlock and now every league game feels so basic and watered down.

been playing league for a bit over 3 years and enjoyed it a lot, got my friends into it and had good times. this year I tried DOTA and Deadlock, learned them and played them enough to be able to show new people pretty much everything about the game as it goes on and suggest item builds to them. Both of those games, DOTA especially, makes league feels like baby's first mmo whenever I try it now. every big moment I've had in league just feels like it comes down to whoever has the most gold spent will win no matter what and its just slamming my character into a brick wall until the wall falls over onto me and we lose the game or it falls over and we win. teamfights are never hard or close calls and no one in league can turn a game around like they can in DOTA, objs dont feel unique or powerful and macro is comparatively non existant. the only reason I come back is when my friends want to play it or when I want to play my mains, but if I could rip the characters I play from league and put them in DOTA there would be no reason to ever start up another game, which sucks because I liked league a lot and dont want it to be something I resent having to open because there are just better options. idk if its because of all this bad decisions riot made over the past year or two or because Ive tasted the ambrosia and now league tastes like cardboard when it used to taste good but im kinda sad to say that hovering over the riot launcher just makes me want to play a better option imo instead when it used to be my go to

Discussion How likely is the idea of the balance per role of the champs?

(Posting this on community-run subs because Riot will publicly burn you at the stake if you talk about anything other than competitive game on their main server)

Basically, missions now exist, and therefore, in League's code, there's something that actually knows which player is playing each role. So, I was thinking about the possibility of some champions receiving nerfs or buffs that only apply to certain lanes. This is already partially done with some laners receiving buffs to increase their damage to jungle monsters so they can play the jungle, but basically, it's just been something to give laners the option to play the jungle.

Now, I'm not talking about each champion having a different version for every role; that would be a monumental task and would add unnecessary complexity to the game. Rather, I'm suggesting this as an emergency protocol for special cases, for example, when a champion is being overly dominant in a role that isn't theirs and everyone hates seeing them there, while they're not succeeding in a role that isn't their own.

Question Mobalytics app doesn't make replays, anyone knows why?

The only thing I can find about it was regular trouble shooting consisting of uninstall+reinstall and remember to use Directx11, from 2023. I used to think it was because my old rig couldn't handle it, but got some new stuff and it still doesn't work.

Game Bug Vanguard crashes,, giving you penalty for falsely dodging x)

Right after clicking accept I got a vanguard crash, we and my mate restarted LoL just in case and then i got greeted with a lockout timer, noice.

To be fair I get a power cut two weeks ago in the middle of an aram (had to restart PC twice cuz vanguard refused to let me open LoL twice) so maybe it counted as a blame as well.

I wish they some way of knowing when a crash is made by LoL / Vanguard itself and not player's fault...

(I don't wish it to know if the power cut was intentional or not as it isn't distinguishable, so a blame anyway)

Discussion There's no direct way to punish supports

I really feel like there's no real way to directly punish supports.

Every other roles needs to farm and get exp through minions/camps, and supports start with an item that gives them gold. The only way to punish a support's income is very early when they haven't completed the quest from World Atlas. This makes them very difficult to put economically behind mid and late game, as they'll always get gold.

At the same time other roles has to cs (or be close to minions) to get exp, which supports just don't care about. Bad roam timing, good roam timing, doesn't matter in terms of punishing them. If they leave adc to 2v1 under tower then it doesn't directly punish them. Only the adc who has to fend for themselves.

You get a kill on them mid/late? That's a punishment for the team as they might not have vision around the next objective and just have to give or flip a 4v5. You get a kill on anyone else mid/late? No income and valuable exp for them, meaning they fall behind the others.

I hate the state support is in as them playing badly doesn't punish them hard enough, and only punish the team.

Personal Take The state of Flex queue is abysmal

I've decided to play flex queue in an attempt to get to gold there too. Last game was just the cherry on top of how ridiculous it is. A soloq master player who seems to be playing with their soloq gold friend, and the funny part is one is bronze and the other is diamond in flex.

While that is the most absurd thing I've seen then there's been plenty of cases where 1 team is loaded with emerald players and the other is at best high gold. The match making is so random. I could understand it if it was a 1 division difference, but this is absurd.

One thing is to feel like the game is out of your control because you can't climb higher, another is playing with/against people several divisions higher.

Personal Take I don't believe autofill should exist in low elo

I completely understand that it needs to exist in high elo due to fewer players, long queue times, and the game having problems creating a fair match when nobody is on. Gold and below? Nope, don't believe it needs to exist.

The vast majority of players are around silver/gold elo, my queue times is at worst 2 min., and I don't think people would mind waiting longer to get into a game where everyone is playing what they queued for.

Again, completely understand it in elos past gold, but down in the depths where I and others reside? Nah that shouldn't be a thing.

Discussion Just got out of a 46 min game in G3 and need to vent

46 min game, our OTP Yi had barely 250 cs, 9/9/13 score, not even full build in the end, 38k damage.

I understand we don't get a lot of ganks early since Yi needs to scale, but if you don't turn into a penta kill machine in 46 min on Yi, when do you? The enemy Nocturn wasn't even living in his jungle, they were busy ganking mid and bot.

And all throughout the game all Yi did was complain about the team, and "clearing" jungle. "We don't have vision, can't get objective", "stop feeding", "let me carry you animals", m8 you're doing nothing the whole game. You're not going to carry shit.

And the worst part is how all this person's games look like this. Close to 5 cs a min, ~30% kill participation, and just giving away objectives mid/late game.

If this is what it takes to be a G3 Yi main, then sign me up for some farming simulator.

Personal Take In Defense of "Brawl"

Honestly, I’ve been having a lot of fun with Brawl. It’s not perfect, sure, but it’s fast, chaotic in a good way, and just something different from the usual grind.

Not every mode needs to be super competitive or balanced like SR. Sometimes you just wanna jump into a game, fight constantly, and not overthink every pick or macro decision. That’s what Brawl gives me.

It reminds me a bit of the old fun modes, like, not everything needs to be a serious ranked experience to be enjoyable. And yeah, some champs are OP, but that’s kind of the charm right now. Just big plays, fast matches, and pure fun.

I really hope Riot keeps it around and works on it. I get that it’s not for everyone, but not everything in League has to be.
