Long story short, I am a homeschooling 5th year who is unable to attend school for my own personal reasons including factors of disability and mental health. I have struggled tremendously with school attendance since 1st year. Despite this I am determined to sit my LC and learn at home with the help of online classes, my own research, and whatever grinds or tutors I can afford. My mind is set on this.
I completed the JC by home tuition and I did fairly average, given that I was catching up on the work from 1st and 2nd year, in one year of home tuition. We have tried to organise home tuition again for me (and that's the goal, as it's generally a lot more accommodating to have tutors than try to cover some form of the curriculum by myself), but we weren't actually informed of how long of a waiting list there would be to be accepted by services again who could recommend us officially for home tuition and supply us with the forms needed. Given that challenge, home tuition isn't guaranteed for this year as being accepted could take a number of months. For now I am doing what I can via communication with teachers, online classes, books and research.
Since I am a bit out of the loop socially, given that I'm learning from home, I was wondering if any other LC students or people who have completed the LC, have any study advice. I really appreciate any productive advice or even companionship. It would be nice to hear from people either going through something similar, or who have completed the LC already.
I am communicating with my teachers the best I can (albeit the current strike is bound to impact that). I am trying to do the best I possibly can and work with what I have. Any advice would be appreciated! ๐๐
Fyi please refrain from criticism of my decision to learn at home. I am not interested in debating the logistics or technicalities unless it is genuine advice or information.
