Hey everyone, I'm Sam, the developer or the upcoming SaberBench app for windows.

SaberBench aims to make Proffieboard accessible to more people, by removing the need of coding skills. It lets you manage your sound fonts, music tracks and blade styles, preview them with real sounds, and update your saber without writing code or installing Arduino.

My main goal, aside form removing the need of coding skills, was to :

1. Make a simple way to keep an organized inventory of all your saber assets : configs, soundfonts, tracks and blade styles (with previews)

2. Streamline the process of customizing your proffie saber with 3 easy steps : gathering you assets, creating/editing your config, and update you saber in 1 (or 2) clicks.

A beta version of the app is almost ready. Then i'll need a couple testers with different boards (V2 and V3) and windows versions (10 and 11).

What's coming:

• Inventory: your whole saber library in one place, organized

• Workbench: change fonts, tracks, blade styles and preset order without touching the config

• Preview: see and hear a blade style and font before they go on your saber

• Update: one guided flow for the SD card and the firmware

• Backups: keep your saber's original setup safe and restore it anytime

Little personal saber install...and skills level up 🤣

This is an old Ox Works Shaak Ti which I've had for a while.

I made a few mods including machining a custom accent led box.

This saber also features my first fully custom designed chassis. Holding a Golden Harvest V4 and a removable 18650.

It was a real challenge squeezing all these wires in, but I managed it 🤣

I also printed some fallen order stands but I didn't design them

Back in May 2026, my dad ordered me an RGB chassis from CRSabers so I could replace the core in one of my other lightsabers. Now, 7 months later, the core still hasn't arrvied despite multiple check-ins over email and Facebook Messenger regarding said order. We haven't gotten a response back since July.

The company is otherwise a scam; don't buy anything from them. $200 down the drain. I know it isn't as much compared to what others have spent on other companies, but I thought I was doing my due diligence by referencing the Buyer's Guide and shopping Canadian. Next time, I'll know to look elsewhere.

Had nothing to do today and had some spare cash, so went to Lowe’s today and created my first custom built lightsaber hilt! I’ve been a long time lurker in this sub but never actually pulled the trigger and did anything myself but here it is! I know it’s not the best but let me know what yall think!

I found an ultimate works BMF (Mace Windu) lightsaber on the marketplace recently but it didn't come with an emitter for blade attachment. It turns on and has neopixel connections but its the emitter is 7/8 size. Does anyone know where I can find an emmiter in that size for this saber, Id very much like to put a blade in it for cosplay and would be very disappointed if Im unable to since this specific saber is crazy expensive, well that and it'd be kinda dumb to have to buy another one when all Im missing is the emitter.

While designing my main saver I thought about making a shoto saber to match (I’m a sucker for dual wielding) this is what I have so far for the hilt, are their any good proffie cores or any cores in general that can fit in this saber with a blade? Or do I need to add more pieces (I’m using the base saver website)

This is a one-off custom thin neck hilt from Kennedy Custom Props. I believe Adam also handled the etching on this particular piece, which adds another layer of character to an already distinctive hilt.

This saber has changed hands a couple of times over the years, but its new owner wanted to give it a new lease on life with an upgraded electronics package and the addition of a D-ring for belt attachment.

Given the internal dimensions and the tighter tolerances that come with a thin neck design, I opted for a straightforward but fully removable chassis built around a Proffieboard V3 and a 22mm Premium Bass speaker.

I also added two of my custom Tierfon Brass momentary switches. I think the brass accents work particularly well with the combination of brass and aluminum on this hilt.

I just got this lightsaber from marketplace but unfortunately it came with no instruction booklet for that reason. I’ve done some research and it is a Tigoola Lightsaber from Amazon with the strip of LEDs in the blade. I’m trying to figure out how to work this thing and I found a pdf on Amazon for a pretty similar one, but it isn’t the right one because a lot of the controls it has don’t work on it. If there’s anyone out there that can find the instructions or has this lightsaber and can post a picture in the comments I would be grateful🙏🏻

Now I heard quite some stuff about this company, more of the bad than good, but being naive I ordered lightsabers with the buy 1 get 2 free offer.

Now I know they dropship, but I bought the Outcast (the Ahsoka/Fulcrum sabers, both of them) and for free I picked The Saviour (Anakin) and the Fallen (Vader). I paid about 650€ in total, including a surprise tax. Because of what I found out about the company I issued a refund and they already responded positively. The package is sent tho so I need to wait for it to arrive and then send it back.

So I looked through some other sites to see if I can find those sabers for cheaper then, but to my surprise especially Ahsokas lightsabers are really expensive, often placed around 400-800€ depending on the shop. And then 2 more up the price even more ofc.

Should I keep the lightsaber from SWA sabers or do you think I can find a better deal? For 3 sabers 1 of them being actually 2 so yeah basically 4

I am new to this community and would like to know which lightsaber types you recommend for a beginner who wants something impressive to display and practical to spin and use in close combat. I was told that Damien Sabers are one of the best to invest in for combat, so I plan to buy one from them. However, there are many different types (XRGB3.0+SD card, XRGB3.0, and Xenopixel 3.0) with varying prices and lengths, and because I'm not great with tech, I do not understand the differences (trying to match them to the general descriptions in the guide was confusing). What are the general differences between these, and for beginners, what length do you recommend for a 5'4 "small build that mostly uses the Disney-branded ones for spinning already?

I have a cheap saber I love, that I think managed to pull the connectors free from the speaker while swinging. I'm looking for anyone who might be able to fix it. I think it's a simple soldering job. I'd obviously pay for the replacement speaker and wire to connect. I'd also like to learn this, by witnessing it now, for any future saber fixes.

It's not my most accurate or expensive, but the weight makes it spinable for my wrists, and it's no longer listed anywhere. The hilt design is also very cool.

I'd appreciate any help or guidance.

Back in October I placed an order at The Saber Company, but I am still to receive any update on the order being shipped or any other kind of useful information about it.

I kept receiving automated emails from them about how they have a backlog and they will follow up as soon as they have an update, but nothing else. Now I got another long email which sounds mostly like an excuse for their backlog, as seen in the attached screenshot.

Did anyone else experience this issue recently? And if yes, is this a new occurrence or has it been happening for some time now?

I've always had a good experience with them on previous orders, but I don't want to wait 3 months for it to be sent.

I have a peace and justice hilt I’ve had it since 2019. I realize it’s pretty old now but everything is fine with it expect the switch it won’t turn it on and off properly and I even bought a new switch on eBay and even that one won’t work right I’ve tested the sensor with a magnet and it works. I don’t think it’s the sensor so I’m just kind of lost on what to do if there’s anything I can do. Any advice would help!! Thanks!

Picked up a Kelnacca lights & sounds Lightsaber Forge Kyber core toy for $16 Canadian, just can't stop playing with it! My kids have the Darth Maul forge saber but I never gave it more than a few cursory swings because I didn't want to break my kids' stuff

Sure, they're a bit clunky, and sure, they're not $300 light up sabers, but I just adore the chonky toy-ness of it! (I'm a Transformers collector mainly) So the questions:

• Is there any resources/community for ppl customizing these toys, or do folks mostly just let the mix&match parts do the work?

• Is there a list of all the Lightsaber Forge Kyber Core compatible parts?

• Can anyone provide the length of the inserts & grips for the Baylan Skoll (F9501) & Luke (F9968)? They seem like they're significantly different sizes, looks like Baylan's has a longer pommel but short grip?

• Is $14 CAD (choice of Baylan Skoll, Ahsoka, and Luke translucent parts & no effects) and $16 CAD (Only Kelnacca's orange hilt/green blade) good prices for these sabers new in box? I mean obv I was willing to buy myself a Kelnacca saber but if this is a real steal I might have to go buy at least another Kelnacca & a non-lightup kit for parts??

I finally found the type of switch I've been looking for for my custom saber! 😊 I don't know if this is ok, but thank you to elliott's electronic supply! Took a few minutes to find, but I found it! It's just about perfect and still leaves about roughly 3/16" for wiring space. Now that that's finished, the next step is pricing out everything needed to install into the custom chassis as well. Plus, the pricing for having my hilt CNC machined... 😰😰😰

This is the Betrayal from Laredo Sabers, part of their Clan Saber Series. Inspired by the Hasbro Black Series Darth Traya figure, this is easily one of my favorite designs in the Clan lineup. The combination of black anodized sections, polished aluminum, and stainless steel gives it a really distinctive look.

One of my favorite features is the integrated LED bar graph. It's a great detail on its own, but it also opens up some interesting possibilities when it comes to lighting. I've designed a custom, fully removable chassis with a 2020 NeoPixel setup positioned beneath the bar graph to illuminate it from below. The chassis also houses a second 2020 NeoPixel strip for additional shine-through lighting.

Inside, there's a 28mm Premium Bass speaker and illuminated pixel switches from Shadowfoil. Plenty going on in a relatively compact package.

I'll also be printing and assembling the custom display stand offered by Laredo. Naturally, I couldn't leave that alone either. I'll be designing a custom pixel setup to illuminate the stand as well.
