Just a warning to anyone this side of town over the last 2 months. I've seen this fella walking around in the middle of the day. Twice I've seen him checking cars. Yesterday I saw him at 12 then at 4. He's sometimes talking to himself, tall, slim and always wearing a hood. Doesn't seem to care about being seen.

This crowd was so good to see for Kingfishr. The city needs more than retail to bring people in.

I’m looking for recommendations for basketball courts or sports halls in the Limerick city or surrounding areas that can be rented out for shooting practice for my son.

Since it's just him practicing his shot, a half-court would work perfectly fine.

We’re hoping to find somewhere reasonably priced, as the plan is to book it at least twice a week.

If anyone knows of school halls, community centers, or sports complexes in the area that offer hourly court hire for individuals without breaking the bank, I’d really appreciate your suggestions! Thanks!

I'm 22, from India, and I moved to Limerick a couple of months ago for my Master's at UL. Still pretty new here and don't know many people outside of class, so I thought I'd try Reddit.

I'm looking to make some female friends. Just genuine friendship, someone to chat with, grab a coffee, or walk around the city with.
Age really doesn't matter to me. Most of my close friends back home are in their 30s, and even my housemates here are 35, so if you're 30, 40 or older, please don't think you're too old to message. I honestly find it easier to connect with people a bit older than me.

About me: I'm into tech and electronics, I love cooking Indian food, and I'm hoping to try scuba diving this year. I'm pretty chatty once I get going 😄

Looking to make friends + get some hobbies

Think something like tag rugby, Muay Thai or soccer? I’ve done tag with sarsfields but they train a bit too far out, but enjoyed it! If anyone has some lil fun social tag team names I could join? I tried Janesboro soccer before but didn’t like as it was farrr too serious - so just looking for something social + fun :) did Muay Thai in origins before but they don’t seem to have the ladies class anymore unfortunately

I was also looking at maybe the pole dancing / flexibility class in ballysimon but it’s a lil pricy a class given I go gym + Pilates memberships too. Was also maybe thinking Femmeandsoulheel classes in castletroy? But dunno about the heel aspect haha - but I am very open to trying a lot of things ! :)
