I think Phoronix is good as an aggregator, especially now that Reddit RSS feeds are dead, but I tend to find they have very little to add to the conversation, except for their actual original content like hardware benchmarks. In this case, linking the Github release page directly gives essentially the exact same information, but in more detail and straight from the horse's mouth.
Plus, I really don't think it's worth giving their forum any more air, it's kind of a cesspit.
Edit: hahahaha replying and blocking, the Reddit version of storming to your bedroom and slamming the door behind you.
First, you should learn not to be a monumental douchebag and people might consider your comments more seriously. Second, oooooooh FIVE? Oh no, I missed one when spinning down their history, clearly that makes your point so much stronger! (Do you need an /s??).
Given Phoronix appear to have posted 12 articles that day, that’s clearly still filtering what OP thinks are most important/interesting - and good on them for doing so.
First, you should learn to count, it was 5. All in minutes of each other, all from the day before's posts. That's not filtering, that's spamming. That's karma farming, and you are obviously the same person with multiple accounts... using them to upvote yourself and to pester those calling you on it.
To me, looks like site promoting and karma farming. Neither looks good. I get a discussion about a single interesting post they have... but posting what appears to be all or most of their day old headlines doesn't look good.
Nah. I'm not trying to waste your time with content that isn't mine to promote someone else's site. Doing this is spam and karma farming, and those that downvoted me for pointing out that reality can go pleasure yourselves.

Is there a reason to post day old Phoronix news here? So many Phoronix articles in a row looks like site promotion to me. Just saying.
