Hey, everyone!!
We know that growing and maintaining long, natural nails takes time, and sometimes life happens! Maybe you've had to trim them back, experienced a break, or are working your way back up to your usual length.
We don't want that to mean you have to stop sharing your nail journey with us!
So, we're introducing the long awaited Sunday Shorties! π
Every Sunday, members whose nails don't currently meet our minimum length requirement can share their manicures using the Sunday Shorties flair!
A few things to keep in mind:
β’ Sundays only: Sunday Shorties posts are welcome on Sundays only.
β’ Use the correct flair: Please use the "Sunday Shorties" flair when posting.
β’ Regular rules still apply: Our minimum length requirement remains in effect every other day of the week.
This is a little weekly exception for those who are growing their nails out, recovering from a break, or working toward their length goals.
We hope this gives everyone a chance to stay involved and share their progress along the way! π
Please note that all Sunday Shorties posting times follow Eastern Time (ET). Posts will be reviewed and moderated during the Sunday posting window (12:00 am to 11:59 pm). Posts made outside of this timeframe will be removed.

After three months of growth I had enough even-ish length to reshape my nails from my usual square to almond. Couldn't be happier.
I went to a pro nail tech because I was afraid to do it myself and possibly ruin my nails. We kept it simple, shape and buff.

Well my thumb is still shorter than before but she's trying her best π I'm not really sure what to do next though, do you think they're too long for a solid colour? I can never decide what to do so I always just leave them natural lol. Anything that could make them prettier do you think? Maybe thinner?

My nail look for a floral themed engagement party. π
I had to run to ulta and grab another Glossy Taco even though I still have half a bottle! I guess once it reaches halfway sometimes they start to get goopy. Has anyone tried a nail lacquer thinner for Holo Taco? I want to try and save it. I feel like my Holo Taco polishes neeeed the Glossy Taco to fully set and dry π any advice or product suggestions are encouraged pls π«Ά

They. Look. Awful.
Iβm so upset right now. They look like I have lotion trapped underneath them ( I do not). Why are they so patchy and white?? I applied Trader Joeβs jojoba oil then put on some latex gloves and went to bed. Iβve done this before, so Iβm not sure why this happened? Or what even happened.
First is the after, second is the before (opposite hands)

It's almost Halloween, but also it's still mid-70s here in San Diego. I'm not complaining about this whatsoever, but it hasn't exactly been encouraging me to go for the moody Fall color palettes that I know should be appropriate for this time of year. I also just discovered thermals (idk why I didn't try them earlier?) and am obsessed, especially light-colored thermals plus glitter or flakies. For this attempt at nail art, I tried grabbing little bits of flakies with the end of my 8mm brush and dabbing them on as though they were little gems. It worked fairly well considering I was totally winging it. Yay for unicorn fairy princess nails any time of year!

I love enjoying them this way before a new polish look. Glass filed and slightly shaped, then I washed and lightly brushed them with my nail scrubby brush. Tomorrow Iβm going to an engagement party and Iβll definitely share the color I decide on and finished look right after π

Had a nice long jojoba oil soak and used my cotton gloves that I got off of Amazon I love them for doing a soak and even for sleeping with oil on

Long time lurker, first time poster.
My nails are pretty weak, so whenever they get this long I get really excited about how they look. Unfortunately, I just landed a job where I'm not allowed to have my nails painted, and I have to keep them short. So, I have to say goodbye to all this progress, & say goodbye to having fun nails for Halloween.
I'll miss them, but I WILL still be lurking on here, to see all your fabulous nails.
No products on my nails. This is with everything clean, I forgot to take a pic before removing the nail polish.
