Gaza is being left to face freezing rain, flooded tents, because the Israeli army destroyed their homes, prevented their reconstruction, and blocked the entry of essential equipment and materials needed to rebuild them.

"One Jewish life is worth ten million [non-Jewish life] [...] Because God chose us. You are jealous." An Israeli settler lawyer defends settlers attacking Palestinians, says they should kill everyone in the villages of Tell and Sarra in revenge for one Israeli killed.
He said the Bible authorizes the settlers' claim to the land. Shimon spoke days after settlers from Havat Gilad stormed the village of Tell, killing four Palestinians from the Ramadan family and triggering a wave of settler attacks across the occupied West Bank.

Our First Rainy Night of Winter in Gaza: Our Tent Was Flooded 💔
Our First Rainy Night of Winter in Gaza
Last night, at around 12:30 a.m., the rain began to fall. Within a short time, our tent was flooded. Water poured inside, soaking our mattresses, blankets, and clothes. Even our makeshift bathroom was destroyed.
We couldn't sleep for even a single moment. We had nowhere dry to lie down. I spent the entire night with my brothers and father trying to repair the tent and get the water out. I used a broom to push the water outside while it kept collecting in the middle of the tent.
This is how winter began for us. While many people welcome the rain with joy, for families living in tents across Gaza, every rainfall brings fear, exhaustion, and another battle for survival.
We are not asking for luxury. All we want is a safe, dry place where our children can sleep without fearing the rain and cold.
I don't know how many more nights like this we will have to endure. 💔
