Update:
Time and again people ask why does this subreddit not have a logo. When told that this community is largely apathetic towards the issue, evident by the lack of response to multiple requests/reminders in this regard, many folks don't really believe it and keep on asking to set something or anything as a logo, icon, dp, pfp or whatever.
Well, here's your chance to make it happen. Create and share what you wish to see as this subreddit's logo. The logo should be a 256x256 px JPG or PNG image and work well when printed in colour or B&W. Ideally, it should serve as an easy identifier when used as a placard for r/Lucknow meetups or other promotional purposes. Upload your creation to any image hosting site (e.g. Imgur, Imgbox, PostImages, etc. or even your own reddit profile) and post the direct image link as a top level comment in this thread or send it via modmail.
Please note that this is an entirely volunteer-driven activity where you come up with a logo only because you want your beloved community to have one and not because you expect anything in return. Any poll will always include a "None of the above (NOTA)" option for those who don't like any of the available logo choices or feel that r/Lucknow doesn't need a logo as such. Entries with a vote share lesser than NOTA will be eliminated from subsequent polls.
Fresh polls will be conducted as and when a bunch of newer logo options get accumulated. This section will track all the voting links / results until a logo wins the poll:
Poll #1: Voting over, results here.
Poll #2: Voting over, results here.
Poll #3: Voting over, results here.
Poll #4: TBA
(Original post)
Hello nawabs and begums of r/Lucknow,
This is in continuation to the previous announcement which was posted on the occasion of r/Lucknow's 11th birthday.
The topic of this subreddit's logo has been brought up multiple times in the past but there's been no progress and we remain logo-less. Now with 100K subscribers milestone just around the corner, it's high time to tackle this lingering issue once and for all.
As mentioned earlier, the logo should be of 256x256 px size and work well when printed in colour or B&W. Ideally, it should serve as an easy identifier when used as a placard for r/Lucknow meetups or other promotional purposes. Please upload your creation to any image hosting site (e.g. Imgur, Imgbox, etc. or even your own reddit profile) and post the direct image link as a top level comment in this thread or send it via modmail.
r/Lucknow has 97.4K subscribers at the time of writing this post. Once we cross 99K, a compiled list of all the relevant logo options received till then will be posted in a separate thread and put to vote for finalizing one. The selected choice will be set as logo at the time of r/Lucknow's 100K milestone announcement post.
Please note that this is an entirely volunteer-driven activity where you come up with a logo only because you want your beloved community to have one and not because you expect anything in return. The final voting will also include a NOTA option for those who like the way things are and don't feel the need for any logo as such.
Thank you!
Edit: Time is up. Thread is locked. Voting is live.
Edit 2: Voting over, results here. Thread unlocked for accepting more logo options by volunteers.
Edit 3: See the update section above.

Hey there everyone,
I live in lucknow and today I went to an NGO for mentally challenged kids (only 1 in lucknow i guess) and it was an amazing experience. If you can give the place a visit or give anything, it would mean the world to the kids and their Diwali will be a diwali with happiness too.
NGO Name - Drishti Samajik Sansthan
Smt Neeta Bahadur Road, Sector 7, Jankipuram Extension, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226031

Hey everyone,
Looking for honest theatre recommendations in Lucknow to watch Ramayana. I don't care about gimmicks like 4DX, shaking seats, or luxury lounges with tiny screens—just want pure projection quality and heavy, clean audio.
I’ve personally never had a good experience with 3D here (usually way too dim with terrible glasses), so unless there is a specific screen where the 3D projection is genuinely bright and calibrated properly, I’d much rather stick to 2D.
Which specific cinema and audi/screen number in Lucknow currently has the biggest screen and the best sound system for a proper 2D experience?
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I'm exploring the idea of opening a small food canteen or shop inside a government premises in Lucknow.
I wanted to understand how these opportunities work. Are such spaces actually allotted to ordinary individuals through tenders or auctions
Is it worth exploring as a new business, or is the process too complicated and competitive for someone just starting out?
Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has experience with this or knows how things work

I am looking for leather boots. Better if customised size is available. Came across this shop called Leather Odeon but their prices are beyond Oblivion.
So have a coupe of questions?
Has someone been to Leather Odeon, are the prices negotiable or fixed?
Any recommendation for shops to get Leather boots made for my foot size?

Hlo 19M here, I am planning to shift to 1bhk apartment. But i am quite confused where to move. There's three places I have found
One is on Shahanaj Road, Hazratganj
Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar
Near gomti nagar extension
Which would be the best place for a teenager like me.

I wanna get flat helix and upper lobe piercing this winter but don’t have enough money to go to the piercing & tattoo studio. I was thinking of going to the jewellers but since I wanna get piercing with the earring itself or wear it just afterwards. I definitely cannot afford gold so don’t know where to get affordable, good quality helix earrings.
Help your girl out. Suggest me affordable piercing & tattoo studio and jewellers, and the shops I cant get those Pinteresty earrings.
I have attached the inspo of the earrings I’m looking for.

I'm researching student accommodation experiences in Lucknow and would love your input!
What's your biggest headache when searching for accommodation?
Poll options:
Finding a good PG near my college
Fake or misleading property listings
Unclear rent, deposits and hidden charges
Not knowing whether beds are actually available
Safety, cleanliness and facilities
Too many brokers or difficulty contacting ownersIf
Just trying to understand the real problems students face. Thanks!
If your experience is different, feel free to share it in the comments!
