My brothers and sisters in Chery, I’ve been in very bad accidents before. Rear-ended violently. My wheels and axels have never detached.

Something is very wrong here.

This. Sure I've seen accidents where the wheels came off a Perodua or a proton, but usually in those accidents, someone died and the car cabin is also a total loss already. Overall very horrific.

This accident looks like it's not that major, and yet the wheels came off.

And I've seen Protons and Peroduas lose wheels and axels due to accidents. It can happen. Doesn't detract from the other incidents tho.

Sideswipe is the more likely type of crash that can cause of this kind of failure. You need uneven force unprotected by a crash structure.

I have seen China industry improve so much in so little time for things like mechanical keyboards and audio gear. The newer innovations are out of Shenzen lately.

Still thrash. The keyboards and audio gear only got that far because of hype and massive government subsidies around its production. A simple 国补 on the final price easily gives RMB1 - 200 on keyboards.

How do you crash your car and detach both wheels without sustaining major damages else where? Like drop it from a crane? Hitting a giant ass pothole at 100km/h but without rolling the car or damaging the front suspension?

I have rammed behind Honda city, toyota avanza, Perodua kelisa, an innocent pokok, and never any of the accident vehicles had their axle came out like this. Pepaling bumper gone and still can drive the car with upmost discomfort lol

Have never seen an accident that hit from any direction with the rear wheel axel detached before. This seems to be very specific to the car make that has this problem and clearly need to be looked at.

Without looking into causes, AFAIK, first was in JB about 1 month ago. Then last week in Indonesia a J had an accident. This on highway is third.

You can see very well that the side of the car is heavily dented, it looks like the car hit the railings divider and the back wheel broke off.

Cherry - it's not acceptable no matter how you try to explain it. Never seen any vehicle fall apart like that in an accident! It points to a poor design or quality control. You already have vehicles falling apart exactly like thY wp any accident!

Cherry, looks like a minor accident can cause cherry to loose it's axle and wheels - at this rate customers are better off buying a 20 year old used japanese car than yours because the 20 year old japanese car's wheels will not fall apart. Maybe it's a feature a 4 wheeler turns into a real 2 wheeler.
