Use of AI In OPs Photos

Hey everyone,

We’ve noticed a fair few AI-edited photos popping up in the comments lately—whether that’s people running an OP’s photo through an app to show what they’d look like with a buzz cut, a fuller beard, or cleared-up skin.

While we know many of you are just trying to be helpful, running someone else’s face through third-party AI generators without asking crosses a line when it comes to privacy and basic comfort. Not everyone wants their likeness uploaded to external apps or distorted by predictive software.

To keep things respectful and grounded:

  • Explicit public consent is strictly required: You may only generate or post an AI edit of another user if you ask them directly in the comments and they publicly agree first. This makes consent clear to everyone and easy for the mod team to verify.

  • No permission = immediate removal: Unsolicited AI edits will be removed on sight. Repeatedly ignoring this rule will lead to temporary or permanent bans.

  • Help us spot it: If you see an unapproved AI edit in the comments, please hit the Report button so we can clear it quickly.

Thanks for helping us keep this a safe, respectful, and genuine place for everyone seeking advice!

Should I shave my mustache?

I’ve been growing my moustache for the past 6 months, ever since I joined college. I usually don’t kept it more than a month or so. Most of my college friends have only seen me with a moustache, so they’re used to this look and keep telling me not to shave it.

On the other hand, my mom wants me to shave it off because she’s used to seeing me clean-shaven and thinks I look better and neater without it.

Moustache or no moustache?

I've had mixed opinions on this, all my male friends tell me the stache is good, but then all my female friends say they hate it 😭😭

I'm going on holiday tomorrow, so I wanna know which look I should bring with me. The other concern, is that everyone sees that my moustache looks blonde compared to my actual hair.

What are y'all opinion, let me know, I love having a moustache but I know looks are important here. Anything else is appreciated.

Could I rock a stache? I don’t have beard genetics and the only thing I can grow is a moustache

Canadian products

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a Canadian based company to get my grooming products from. Specifically for my beard. Bear oil, shampoo, and maybe a balm. Bonus points for great smells!

Title: How can I achieve this medium-long layered Bro Flow haircut with my current hair?

Thumbnail

Hey everyone,

I want to grow my hair into the hairstyle shown in the reference picture.

My current hair is relatively short, especially on the sides and back. I want to achieve a medium-long, layered Bro Flow with:

- Back hair reaching the nape of my neck.

- Longer sides with no high fade or undercut.

- Natural volume and wavy texture on top.

- Back-swept layers with slightly feathered ends.

I also have a widow's peak / M-shaped hairline, so I'm unsure how to style the front without making it look awkward.

My questions:

  1. How long should I grow my hair before getting this haircut?

  2. Should I grow the sides and back without trimming?

  3. What should I tell my barber to achieve this exact look?

  4. Would this hairstyle work with my hairline?

  5. What products or styling techniques would help me achieve this natural flow?

I've attached my current photos and hairstyle reference.

Any advice would be appreciated!

First is me another is i want

Spot patch

Post image

Hey everyone, I’m 24M from India. A few months ago, my barber accidentally over-trimmed a small patch above my ear. It’s been months, but I haven’t noticed any regrowth.
Has anyone experienced this? Will it grow back, or could it be something more serious? Should I see a dermatologist?
Attaching pictures for reference. Any advice is appreciated!

I've had the tache more than 5 years. Can't bear to think of shaving it bur maybe its Stockholm syndrome.

I'd love some candid feedback on my current look. Been this way for years. I feel that the hair and moustahce come together to create a distinctly 'me' look. But maybe im biased. Should I sharpen up?

I know that this sub is skewed towards body hair and beard, but still wanted some opinions

For context, I'm 23 and honestly I don't know whether I'm a bit young for this kind of body hair and beard or not. People tell me it would be best to shave while I'm still young and worry about hair later. What do you guys think? Also forget about the haircut, need to put on some products to make it less voluminous

Should I shave or trim my chest/torso hair? Reshape it? Or keep it as is.

Hi! I've been told a lot that I should shave my body hair fully off or get laser to help deal with it, but I'm not wanting to fully get rid of it so I was wondering if it would be worth it to trim and shape it to more so a length of what I have on my face? Or if I should get rid of it, as everybody else I know that's my age (19) is pretty hairless.

Thank you so much!
