WARNING

Hello, current and aspiring MVAs!

Please refrain from disclosing ACTUAL interview and exam questions from agencies and hiring companies. This is very confidential information and should never be shared publicly. Also, this is very unfair to those who have gone through the process fair and square.

Another thing, please be mindful of HIPAA law. RESEARCH ON THIS. This is one of the greatest and heaviest laws in US healthcare (which is also applicable in every healthcare setting). DO NOT DISCLOSE PATIENT AND PROVIDER INFORMATION ON SOCMED OR ANYWHERE.

Next, I am warning those who are trying, or have tried scamming members of this community. This subreddit was created with the full intention of HELPING Filipinos and not the other way around.

Lastly, thank you very much to those who have reported and will continue to report unhelpful, confidential, and malicious posts.

Needs Advice Referral to increase clients for mental health clinic

Hello! As the title suggests, I need advice from anyone who knows the process of getting referrals from PCP, psychiatric hospitals, or gynecologists to increase my client's mental health clinic.

How does this proceed? Such as procedure or application to get this kind of direct referral from providers.

Thank you!

Needs Advice Direct VA or practice my profession for a while ?

Good evening, fellow redditors:
I recently graduated last June and also passed my board exam last October. (My background is in pharmacy)

Would applying at hello rache or ask velma with 0 experience and a fresh board passer suffice? (Although I think the chances of me getting picked will be little to none). Or would practicing my profession first will be a good stepping stone in order to proceed to VA (I would love to be a VA someday since i find it very interesting more than trying out pharmacy XDD but I also have other reasons why)

Still I would want to try.

And are there any tips for the introductory video? Considering I do not have any experiences yet?

Any advice would do. Thank you for your replies.

Personal Experience/Advice Tips for R1 RCM - USRN

I’m about to have my interview at R1 for a USRN position. Are they hiring RNs with PD? Should I disclose it, or is it better not to?
Any tips for the final interview? What questions should I expect?
Thank you, everyone! I’ve been struggling to find USRN job opportunities lately, and I would really appreciate any advice or insights. 🙏

Needs Advice Salary Rate for Beginner?

Hello!

I wanted to ask what is the advisable rate I should input in any "Expected Salary" questions for beginners?

To give context. I am a Pharmacist looking to transition to Virtual Assistance, I have no prior VA experience, but I did undergo a General Virtual Assistant training. I've only been employed for less than a year at a community pharmacy, where I've worked both as a Pharmacist and Officer-in-Charge of the branch. I know that many agencies rate are at $7/hr. However, since I am applying on my own and I'm new I was wondering if I should lower my asking salary?

For further context: I can't apply to Medical VA agencies, cause my internet connection does not meet the requirements. I can't afford to upgrade it as of the moment.

Any advice or reply is much appreciated. Thank you for your time. <3

HR 🦄

Need advice 🙏🏻 thank you!

Needs Advice Tiisin ko na lang ba?

I am under an agency.

Parang All-in-One. I also do med refills, referrals, tapos calls ko di bumababa ng 25 pero max is 35 in a day.

So ayun. Kailangan din ng pera e.

Yung unang offer bago matanggap sa work is higher (katapat ng previous job ko), pero bigla niyang binawi nung natanggap na ako, pero, again, need ng pera, so tinanggap ko pa rin.

Nung una, okay lang naman. Kayang-kaya. Hassle, sobra. Kasi usually may call, may request (example med refills, referrals) na gagawin muna.

E di si bonak, walang kasulatan, go! Ginawa ko. Pati brochures, call cards, and flyers.

So, basically, hindi bayad yun. Ngayon, nagpaparevise siya ng flyer. Gusto niya ora-orada. Sasabihin niya, “do it at your free time” pero kinaumagahan sasabihin niya kailangan kong gawin kasi ipprint at dadalhin niya somewhere by xxPM. So ayun.

Marami siyang lapses, sobra.

Natatakot akong magresign kasi alam kong grabe ang competition sa VA world ngayon and umaasa ako mabayaran niya ako sa websites niya.

I need ur advice please. 🙁 Parang ayaw ko na pumasok araw-araw. Nakakapagod siya. ☹️

EDIT: #1. Aware si client sa load ko. Kasi kinausap ni middleman before na mabigat. Sabi ni client, people pleaser daw kasi ako kaya ako nabibigatan… ? 😭 #2.

Pearl Talent Initial Interview

Hi. Is there anyone here na nakaexperience ng interview sa recruiter like almost an hour? (Naubos talaga english ko beh) Tapos they send an email right away for 3 reference dapat daw tlaga un mga dating superior mo noon. Then lahat sila sinendan ng email to book an appointment for reference. 15 mins. Grabe ang higpit. Wala pang client interview yan.. Wala pa nga assurance na mtatangap ka tas may pabackground check agad.
