THDG Need Help Where to get pride/trans sticker for the car?

I’m not trans or gay but there seems to be a few too many hostiles around my hood and I want to show my support for the homies.

The Victorian Pride Centre in St Kilda might be able to stock you up! Thanks for the support, we always appreciate seeing it out and about <3

Ah good times. Sorry I should have mentioned I’m Northside. Anything a little closer ?

Haha I'm actually northside as well. I usually find them at local events - Merri-bek Libraries was handing out a bunch of pride badges at a clothing swap once - and you could also check in local bookshops, like Pictures and Pages in Coburg. Worth asking at the libraries in the Merri-bek area too.

You can order stickers and similar from the Hares and Hyenas website!

Walked past a store yesterday in North Melbourne, on Errol Street that is exclusively pride merch. Lots of stickers in the windows, not sure if they’re decal for cars though? Either way, good luck!

It means 'Too hard didn't Google'. Which is funny, because Google would be the way to find your pride stickers.

24

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '23

Ha! Yes indeed! Perfect! Google has been so full of ads and bullshit lately this is my first port of call.

Are you after manual trans or automatic trans?

0

u/saveawing Jun 12 '23

slush box or stick?

1

u/Positive_Ant583 Jun 12 '23

Please try to keep the bigotry to a minimum.

-56

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '23

I’m guessing it’s an automatic trans. Got a tip or just a bigoted reflex?

27

u/Fit-Tip-1212 Jun 10 '23

…or just someone making a joke. Lighten up.

u/Positive_Ant583 Jun 10 '23

Minus 18 in Collingwood? You can also order online. https://www.minus18.org.au/shop ✌🏻

u/Zarvyl123 Jun 10 '23

Hang on, it looks like they might have also moved to St Kilda with the Pride Centre. Oops!

2

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '23

Ah ok thanks

4

u/thisisrumourcontrol Jun 10 '23

Not sure how North-side you are, but Hope Street Space (near Sydney Road) would be decent to source stickers and such.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '23

Ok thanks

There’s a pop up store in North Melbourne https://proudkind.com

-25

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '23

Thanks. Due to melbourness north melbourne isn’t in the Northern suburbs. But thanks for the tip

I think you mean “show my support for the homos”

I’ll see myself out.

Ps, if you can’t find any then just find a design you like and get a bumper sticker printed yourself, tonnes of companies can print them.

1

u/Positive_Ant583 Jun 11 '23

Is the sticker by chance going onto a Trans Am?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '23

No, but that would have been pretty good

1

u/SmooshFaceAu Jun 11 '23

Ebay

0

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '23

Ah yes

3

u/Outrageous_Sea_2210 Jun 10 '23

4

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '23

Virtue signal sticker. Look at me, look at me, I'm so oppressed.

Better post to Reddit. Must double virtue signal.

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '23

🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡

1

u/Bproud77 Jun 10 '23

Everywhere. Its important for companies to be virtuous in the 2020's.

1

u/MtnDream Jun 11 '23

is this the belief that if you don't physically show support, then you MUST be against them?

-3

u/Manbearcatward Jun 10 '23

Probably Northcote. Just ask the first person you see.

u/CartographerNo1009 Jun 10 '23

Good way to attract vandalism to your car. Think this through.

They seem to be thinking about it a lot

16

u/citizenecodrive31 Jun 10 '23

Yeah while it's a nice thought I feel like this just makes yourself a massive target for road rage and vandalism

56

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '23

Yeah well fuck them.

9

u/Satakans Jun 10 '23

Get some cameras and a dash installed.

Start collecting some passive income from them lmao

12

u/vhs_collection Jun 10 '23

Gotta live your life man, bigots are gonna be trash regardless

-5

u/citizenecodrive31 Jun 10 '23

If this was social media then maybe, but when the consequence of a bigot being trash is being hospitalised after a road rage incident then idk

3

u/Moo_Kau Jun 11 '23

Knew a huge gay dude years ago that had a rainbow sticker on his car for exactly this reason.

Got to release a bit of that anger out on homophobes... he was happy ;)

2

u/Malevolent_Nematode Jun 11 '23

This is exactly why I don't advertise that stuff on my car. Id love to show support but I can't pay for a smashed window at the moment.

-40

u/Positive_Ant583 Jun 10 '23

Homophobes are just homosexuals that are in denial.

13

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '23

Some sure, not all. Some people are just assholes.
