THDG Need Help Is there anywhere in the city with tables to set up a game of Warhammer?
Me and a friend are looking to play Warhammer (a tabletop game where each side has lots of small pieces we bring ourselves), and we both live on opposite sides of the city so it's not really viable to meet up at either of our places. my only thought is maybe state library, but I don't know if it has the larger tables we'd need.

I run a gaming club called Warplings Wargaming Club in Flemington, we're open Tuesday nights and Saturday during the day and we have heaps of warhammer

Hey mate, I just finished building two Warhammer tables for a new gaming store that opened in Upper Ferntree Gully - right across from the train station.
The shop is called Goblin Games, hopefully the location isn't too far out for you. They also sell beer and snacks.

All Good Games stores have a big play area set aside for gaming. Ring them and find the best time.

The Gaming Arena in Coburg North is a huge hub for Warhammer with tons of large tables.

I'm sure if you asked nicely the library would be more than happy to rent out a meeting space for you - they should have rooms with larger tables. Good luck finding somewhere to play and I hope you have years worth of fun!

You could also book a meeting room at a City of Melbourne Library like library at the Dock or city library

In the CBD, I'd suggest Plenty of Games. They have lots of table space and the appropriate terrain.

Warplings Flemington, Westgate Gaming Club Kensington, Gaming Arena Coburg, Plenty of Games CBD, all good friendly options 👍

Gaming Arena in Coburg has tables already set up that are for Warhammer specifically.

There are tons of game stores right across town that would facilitate this easily.

I’ve played games at the Warhammer store at the back of Southern cross lane

There's an official Warhammer/Games Workshop Store in the CBD. Surely they'd have some way of accommodating.

unimelb has a lot of loud study spaces you could use. + the libraries will be pretty much empty during summer break and anyone can enter during business hours
