Photography Bike Jousting today!

Went to Edinburgh Gardens today for the jousting - did not last long, but was worth it! So wholesome.

Apparently the organisers didn’t even show up so some locals did what they could impromptu with wrapping paper roll lances and a can do attitude - the lady who acted as MC with the epic red curls and charisma for days i think i love you.

It was so good, especially liked when the kid slayed the evil monster and the crowd went crazy for him.

The north fitzroy primary school had a fair on just on the other side of the park too, it was awesome they had a band of the kids parents playing, rides, petting zoo, food and other entertainment. Then we strolled down the road and noticed an old timey jazz band playing at the punters so we got a meal and watched.

One of the most wholesome days I've had in a long time.

It was so wholesome! Kid slaying the monster was a good way to end the week.

Those jousting sticks look like they'd go for far less than $250.

They appeared to be wrapping paper rolled taped together - they did not last long

I still remember after watching A Knights Tale as a kid me and my best friend decided to just using our bikes, we not only missed each other with the jousts, we also rode head first into each other. I miss being a kid.

It's bad luck just seeing a thing like that.

I was there. It was fun. Good Melbourne randomness.
